It is like that. The past and present are in accordance with the object, which is a general explanation. Second, regarding time, there are two types of consciousness: mental consciousness and sense consciousness. First, the three mental afflictions such as attachment, etc., are related to all past, present, and future objects by means of being directed towards them, because mental consciousness has objects of the three times. It is also said that the unabandoned is added to that future. Second, the attachment and aversion arising from the five senses other than mental consciousness are related only to the objects of their own time, the future, because the arising from the five senses does not focus on the past and future. Second, incidentally, although it is so from the point of view of arising, if the objects of the afflictions such as attachment, etc., arising from the six consciousnesses, which are non-arising dharmas, also do not arise, they are the same as their own time, and it is not certain that their objects will not arise either. If the change of arising is not abandoned, it is said to be related to all objects of the three times by means of being directed towards them. That is also related in a way that can be directed towards, but not actually directed towards, because those do not exist. In general, what exists in the past and present must also exist in the future. There must be two types: arising and non-arising. Even the non-arising is designated by name, and that is clung to as existing in the realm of mental consciousness, so it is the Sarvastivada. In the realm of the future non-arising, everything is attachment, or the boundary of the realm is not cut off, or it is examined. Second, the remaining view, doubt, and ignorance, which are the three common ones, are also related to all five categories of objects to be abandoned, such as the past, etc., because those focus on the five aggregates of appropriation and focus on the common characteristics. That is also until it is not abandoned. Second, in the incidental meaning, there are two types: one derived from the statement that the object has three times, and one derived from the statement of the way of being related. First, to prove that the three times are substantially existent. Among them, there are internal classification views. Among them, there are three types: answering the debate. First, if the past and future in the three times are substantially existent, then conditioned phenomena will become permanent, and if they are not substantially existent, then how will the relationship between subtle and coarse be established? The Vaibhashikas say that the past and future are substantially existent, but they will not become permanent, because they have characteristics such as arising. Therefore, it is clearly promised that it is substantially existent in all times. If it is substantially existent, what is the reason? Because there are two types: scriptural authority and reasoning. The sutra says: Monks, past form...
