I, Branch Analysis. Three incidental cases. First, if the see-abandoning does not generate the agent in the mind, then from wrong view, wrong discrimination, and wrong speech, how is it said that extremes arise? There are two types of motivation: the motivation of cause and the motivation of the time of action. Of these two, the first is the cause that makes the action fully enter, and the second makes the action and time coincide, like the actual practice that follows. Second, the consciousness to be abandoned by seeing is inward-looking, so although it does not actually generate the agent, it is the agent that makes it fully enter. The mind is to be abandoned by cultivation, because there are those who have discrimination and look outward, so it is both the cause and time motivation. The five consciousnesses, such as eye consciousness, are non-discriminating, so they are only the time motivation that follows. Therefore, the accompanying mental events should also be understood in the same way. Therefore, the sutra says that the see-abandoning generates the agent in terms of cause, and if it is admitted that there is no motivation of the agent of affliction, that is the function of the time motivation. The see-abandoning of the desire realm makes the cause motivation of the constant extreme as the agent, but the time motivation only depends on the consciousness of the cultivation-abandoning. The affliction of the consciousness of the cultivation-abandoning is also not in the desire realm. So the time motivation is the main one. If the cause motivation is done with good, and the time motivation is done with non-virtue or neutral, then the vows are not good, will it become like that? The thought of motivation, if the types of see-cultivation-abandoning are different, the time motivation is the main one. If the types are the same, the cause motivation is the main one. Third, is the cause-time motivation like that? What kind is there? Of the three, such as good, that make it fully enter, there are also three, such as good, that follow, what kind of changes are there. There are also four sentences of entering and following, that is, the see-abandoning mind is entering, the five-door consciousness is following, the mind consciousness cultivation-abandoning is both, the uncontaminated is not both. In particular, does the cause motivation of the able to overcome from good-neutral, the time motivation good-neutral the same? Or it will not be worse, so the following motivation neutral and good those two are also only good. Other walking standing sleeping abiding when

Also, by abiding in equality, the Buddha has no predictions, only goodness. As the sutra says, "Even when the elephant king passes away, he abides in equality," and so on. Therefore, not doing evil or being innocent with body, speech, and mind is why he is called a great elephant. The Sarvastivadins say that the Buddha has resultant births and behavioral emanated minds. Saying that the consciousness of the mind and the five doors is intention refers to non-resultant births, because what arises from resultant births has no manifest action and enters naturally, so neither is intention. Similarly, the uncontaminated is non-conceptual and abides in equality, so neither is. It is unreasonable to say that non-knowing becomes good or bad by intention. If it arises only from the power of thought, then the four elements co-arising with non-knowing and the direct consciousness of the eyes and ears would also become good. The thought of intention has no mind in non-knowing, so the vows are a continuum of mind, so these establishments are fabricated by the Sarvastivadins. Thus it is said. Second, there are two aspects to distinguishing non-knowing: teaching and explanation. First, non-knowing should be understood in three ways: What are they? Vows based on harm, non-vows that constantly enter based on harm, and intermediate ones that abandon or enter partially in other directions. Among these, harm is the seven non-virtues of body and speech, and the basis is the three of mind. Alternatively, harm is nature, and the basis is what is established. Second, there are two types: explaining vows separately and explaining all three in common. First, there are two types: general and specific. First, vows are called Pratimoksha vows, as well as uncontaminated vows and vows born from meditation. Second, specifically explaining Pratimoksha, there are divisions, individual natures, different names, and four types of individuals who possess them. First, there are two types: actual and incidental. First, there are two types: dividing into eight and summarizing into four. First, there are eight types of vows called Pratimoksha vows: monks and nuns, female novices, male and female novices, laymen and laywomen, and those who keep vows. In the commentary on the "Friendly Letter," the female novice is omitted, and those who keep vows are divided into two. Second, apart from different individuals, there are four types of substances for vows. That is, the substance of the vows of monks and nuns.
