It is said that this and the next life are also obscured. The second part is divided into two points: explaining the five inexpiable sins, and as an extended meaning, explaining the five sins close to them. The first part is divided into three points: general explanation, specific explanation, and incidental mention. First, examine the place and the basis: Inexpiable sins exist in the three continents other than Uttarakuru. Among the three continents, it is not considered that inexpiable sins will arise because of eunuchs and hermaphrodites, etc. Why? Because parents cause them to be born with incomplete faculties, love is small so benefit is small, like a lineage with a bad nature and a hot door. Moreover, these people have little shame and concern for their parents. Although there are acts such as patricide in the lower realms, they will not become inexpiable sins, because evil thoughts are unstable, and there is no antidote. Gods and those with unpleasant voices do not have inexpiable sins, because they are not evil-minded. Why do eunuchs and others not produce inexpiable sins? Because for those who do not have inexpiable sins, vows will not arise. People and others are intelligent, and if they are intelligent, it will also happen to animals, just like a mare does not commit adultery, some say so. The so-called being born with incomplete faculties refers to those who have the faculties to generate realization. The residue of karmic obscurations, the two obscurations of afflictive obscurations and resultant obscurations, exist in all five types of beings. Second, regarding the specific division of the Sangha, it is divided into ten aspects: nature, cause, result, basis, place, who divides, the degree of division, time, place, who divides, when, and the difference between existence and non-existence. First, because it is easy to understand, it will not be said. The division of the Sangha is: the nature of disharmony between the Sangha, having non-having dharmas, is a co-emergent real thing. Moreover, it is neither afflictive nor neutral, it is uncovered and neutral. Such division and the Sangha on both sides truly possess it, but it is not a karma of inexpiable sin. Second, karma is the cause of division, it is the false speech that leads to the division of the Sangha, this karma and the divider Devadatta and others truly possess. The third part is divided into two points: the main explanation and the extended meaning. First, the karma of division causes the divider to experience suffering in hell for a kalpa.

One will obtain the fruit of happiness. Second, it is said that one is born in Avīci Hell due to schism, and although one is certain to be born in hell due to other five heinous crimes, it is not necessarily only in Avīci Hell. So, if one commits two or more of the five heinous crimes, if one only receives one retribution in hell, then there would be no difference in the magnitude of the sins. If one receives two or more retributions, then it becomes a five heinous crime, and it is not just experiencing retribution after birth. To this, the Vaibhāṣikas say that as the number of five heinous crimes increases, the harm of suffering such as bodily pain also increases. The former is the cause of rebirth, and the latter is the cause of completion. The Sautrāntikas and others believe that even if one is born repeatedly in Avīci Hell, other rebirths will not be interrupted. The sutra says that experiencing retribution after birth refers to the initial act of creation. Fourth, the one who splits the Sangha must also be a bhikṣu, because he can only split the Sangha if he is proficient in views and possesses discipline. The one who splits the Sangha cannot be a householder, nor can he be a lustful person, nor can he be a transgressor of precepts. Because this is competing with the Buddha, and it requires keen intelligence, and the Sangha must trust him, and his words must have power. Fifth, where to split? Outside the place where the Buddha resides. Because one cannot openly split the Sangha in the presence of the Buddha, because one cannot bear the Buddha's majesty. Sixth, the text says "children," meaning that one cannot split the Sangha of bhikṣus who are beyond children, because they have personally realized the Dharma, recognized the Buddha, and gained faith. Some say that even if one has attained forbearance, one cannot split the Sangha. Seventh, the standard of division. For example, like Kokālika, Devadatta, etc., regarding someone other than the Buddha, such as Devadatta, as a teacher, and believing in the path he preached that is different from the precepts established by the Buddha, such as not drinking milk, not eating meat, not using salt, wearing unsewn clothes, living in temples in cities, etc., the five precepts, and firmly believing in them, thinking that it should be so, and gladly accepting them, then the division occurs. Eighth, the act of division, according to the Dharma nature, will not last longer than a day. This is considered a division of the wheel of Dharma, because as long as the Sangha is divided and not reconciled, the path will not arise in anyone's mindstream. This is a five heinous crime, other sectarian divisions
