said. The teacher, being angry, said that if the two lies of fasting do not have conduct, then non-conduct will also cease to exist, so it is necessary to rely on the desired non-conduct conduct. Some say that anger is because one has deceitful behavior, and likes the physical actions of non-humans, etc., and that not speaking at all during fasting shows pure conduct as if it were pure. Some say that not all desired non-conduct must rely on conduct, such as when the five groups attain the path of seeing, the individual liberation vow arises even without conduct. It is said that verbal killing and lies implied by the body are essentially actions of body and speech. Second, divisive speech is speaking words driven by an afflicted mind in order to separate others so that they are not friendly. Among them, speaking the truth is only divisive speech, and speaking falsehood becomes both a lie and divisive speech. Third, harsh words driven by afflictions are speaking unpleasant words. Fourth, regarding idle talk, there are two views. The first view is that lies, etc., driven by an afflicted mind are all idle talk, but because the fault is great, it is explained separately. The second view is that any afflicted speech other than the three, such as verbal lies, etc., is idle talk. For example, a bhikkhu with wrong livelihood speaks flattering words, sings because of desire, performers speak idle words to please others, and reciting their evil treatises while clinging to externalist views, and engaging in worldly conversations, and so on. Third, in terms of mental actions, there are three: covetousness, malice, and wrong view. First, covetousness refers to thinking, "How wonderful it would be if that other person's thing became mine," and wanting to take possession of other people's property through improper means, whether through power, stealth, or other means, thereby being attached to other people's wealth. Another teacher said that all craving that acts in desire is covetousness, because in the Vinaya Pitaka, when explaining the five obscurations, covetousness is used instead of desire. Some say that if that were the case, then a wheel-turning king and someone with an unpleasant voice should also have covetousness, because all desire and craving is covetousness, but the difference is that only improper coveting of other people's property is the path, and not all covetousness is, because this summarizes the outline of serious offenses.

It is said so. Second, harmful intent is hating sentient beings, that is, joining in harming them. Third, the view that there is no good or bad karma is a wrong view. Moreover, slandering cause and effect and the Three Jewels is also a wrong view, but here, in order to express the meaning in verse, the first one is mentioned first. It is said so. Fourth, there are five distinctions: the distinction between karma and path, the distinction between cutting off or not cutting off roots of virtue, the distinction between how many karmas and minds arise simultaneously, the distinction of which realm they exist in, and the distinction of how the fruit is produced. First, among the ten non-virtuous deeds mentioned, the three of mind are paths and not karma, because these three are afflictions. Because of their influence, the corresponding consciousness arises. The seven of body and speech are actions, so they are karma. Moreover, the intention that initiates these actions also depends on these seven, so it is also a path. Similarly, the ten virtues such as non-greed should also be understood. The preliminary and concluding actions are for the purpose of entering into the thing itself, and because it is the root of that thing, it will not become a roughly summarized karma path here. If the Sutra masters and others consider greed as karma, then is it the karma and path of good and bad destinies? Or, because they can guide each other, everything is both karma and path. Second, it is divided into: the entity, and the way to cut off virtue by it. First, by completely possessing the great extreme of nihilistic view, all roots of virtue will be cut off. Then, if someone says, what are the great roots of non-virtue mentioned in the scriptures? They are what cut off the roots of virtue, and what are abandoned first when one is free from desire for desire. If someone says that this contradicts what was said above, it is because the wrong view has aroused all the roots of non-virtue, and thereby cuts off the roots of virtue, just as if it were actually burned by fire, but it is said that the village was burned by thieves. It is said so. Second, it is divided into six aspects: what is to be cut off, what can cut off, how to cut off, what to rely on to cut off, the nature of cutting off, and how to reconnect. First, what is to be cut off is the virtue belonging to the desire realm, which is obtained after arising, because those with wrong views that cut off virtue do not possess the virtue of the upper realms, and the virtue of the desire realm is lost when the wrong view is small. Then, if we think from the perspective of imputation,
