And that there is not even one of the seven abandonments, and I think that there is not even one of any of them. Non-vows are: those who are certain to be born into the lineage of butchers, etc., obtain vows merely by actually engaging in the activity, or those who are not born into other lineages obtain them by vowing themselves or by acknowledging them in front of others. The non-discriminating of the remaining intermediate state of vows and non-vows, such as the seven bases of merit, and bowing to the Three Jewels before eating, etc., is obtained by acknowledging and vowing, and by respecting that activity. Thirdly, in terms of abandonment, there are two types of abandonment: actual abandonment of non-discrimination, and, in an extended sense, abandonment of intentional, mental, virtuous, and non-virtuous actions. The first includes three types of abandonment: vows, non-vows, and intermediate states. The first includes three types of abandonment: individual liberation vows, meditative concentration, and uncontaminated earlier states. The first includes two types: general abandonment and specific explanations of individual views. First, offering the precepts with firm resolve in the presence of someone who cannot understand the language; and abandoning the basis, death or transmigration; the basis deteriorating, that is, the simultaneous appearance of both male and female characteristics; the root of virtue of the basic basis being severed; the observance of the fast is based on the above four, plus the passing of the night, these five causes lead to the abandonment of the discipline of individual liberation. Second, the Sutra school and some of the Lower Sun school say that abandoning occurs when any of the four transgressions occur. Other schools, such as the Red Robe school, believe that when the Dharma declines, there is no end to the precepts and activities, so they abandon it. Master Xuecheng believes that after the Dharma declines, it cannot be taken up again, so it does not arise, but it does not abandon the existing precepts. Some say that if this is the case, because there are monks and others who hold vows, the Dharma will not decline, so the former statement is better. The Kashmiris believe that when any transgression occurs, from the perspective of whether or not one holds vows, just as one is both a debtor and a wealthy person, one is both a transgressor and a holder of vows. That is, if one confesses that transgression, one is only a holder of vows, just as one has repaid a debt. In this regard, if one commits a root transgression of killing, one abandons all aspects of the power to abandon killing; others believe that one does not abandon all, but only abandons the vows of the sentient being that was killed. To distinguish this

If a bhikkhuni with improper conduct teaches the Dharma, it is a transgression. The Sutra of the Six Sections states that cutting off the path, etc., has scriptural basis. Because the seven branches are independent, one cannot take one and take all. Others say that the transgression of teaching is only going to hell, and the practitioner who cuts off the path refers to a practitioner in name only. Not teaching the defeated is because they are mostly shameless. When abandoning, it is abandoned because a fundamental transgression has occurred. But receiving is different from this, because the precepts are all binding. Etc., this is refuted by many scriptures and reasons. It is well explained that concealing defeat, etc., cannot restore abandonment. Second, the way of abandoning meditation. All the virtuous things that belong to meditation, which are form, when the earth is transferred, the upper and lower are abandoned by being gathered by their own earth, and those who have fallen from equanimity also abandon. The approximation of not obtaining the actual object is also abandoned by death. Similarly, the virtue belonging to the formless is also abandoned by the two of transference and decay. Third, the noble virtue of non-leakage is that when the latter fruit of the noble is obtained, the entrant and the former are abandoned, and if the dull root is trained and the sharp one is obtained, then what is collected by the dull mind is abandoned, and the latter three fruits are abandoned, and also from the three are abandoned. Second, the way to abandon non-vows. Non-vows means obtaining any of the first two vows of antidote, and abandoning the support, and dying and transferring due to loss of strength, and abandoning when two sexes appear due to loss of support. Third, the way to abandon the intermediate. The intermediate means the power of throwing, the strong intention is cut off, and the promise is cut off, and the action of entering is cut off, and relying on temples and fences, etc., is cut off because they are damaged, and life and the root of virtue are also cut off. Death and transference abandon the intermediate types of good and non-good, because the root of virtue is cut off, the intermediate types of good are abandoned. Second, additional notes. The non-form virtues belonging to the desire realm, the attainment of mind and mental events, those with characteristics, these will be abandoned due to the cutting off of the root of virtue, and being born in the higher form realm, and the reasons for abandoning the virtues of the upper two realms have been explained without difference. The afflictions of the three realms are non-form.
