Like the Pure Land of Samantabhadra illuminated by a single moon. Some Bodhi trees are also the size of this three-thousandfold world, although they are boundless. But the establishment of this Sahā world is as follows: As the basis upon which all vessel worlds depend, the wind mandala below is considered to have a height of six million yojanas and a width that is countless. The so-called dependence on this, the dependence of the vessel world, is to eliminate the view of the Keito school that the world depends on the tortoise, and the view of the Ishvara school that the world depends on the will of Ishvara. The name is Gentle, the shape is round, the color is various or blue-green. The merit is that even a powerful vajra cannot destroy it, so it can support everything. Its essence is the nature of the eight elements such as earth, but the wind element is more dominant, so it is said. Above that wind, clouds called Golden Essence Clouds accumulate in the sky, from which rain falls for many years, forming a water mandala. The measure of the water mandala is a height of eleven million and twenty thousand yojanas. The water is stirred by the wind, and later becomes an ocean with a height of eight million. It does not move directly, but is controlled by karma, just as food remains undigested in the cecum. Or like the air that stays in the lungs. The remaining three million twenty thousand yojanas become the golden mandala on the surface of the sea. The direct distance between the water and the golden mandala is one hundred twenty-three thousand five hundred yojanas. The circumference is three times that. Therefore, the circumference is three hundred sixty-eight million three hundred fifty thousand yojanas. Water and gold are the lower foundation of the four continents, and wind is the lower foundation of the three-thousandfold world, so it is immeasurable. Therefore, the measure of the wind mandala below the four continents is the same as that of earth and water. The earth and water below the three-thousandfold world are also immeasurable. Some say that the base of the wind of the three-thousandfold world is connected, while water and gold are divided into small pieces like dewdrops, so they are measurable. Between these there is intercontinental darkness. Second part, mountains, seas, and continents, first, then seeds or elements appear in the sky.

As various clouds gathered and much rain fell, a great lake was formed. Its size was about eighty thousand yojanas. Then, the finest gathering and separating wind churned it into a square, and from that golden ground arose Mount Sumeru. Because it was very majestic, it was known as Mount Sumeru and so on. After that, the intermediate gathering and separating wind swirled around that mountain, and due to the wind's nature resembling the shape of mountains and islands, seven mountains such as Yoke-Holder were formed outside of Mount Sumeru. Although it is said that this does not match the actual order of the ground, on the top of the mountains, there is Yoke-Holder Mountain, which is like the yoke of the sun's chariot or has that shape, as well as a mountain that holds the shape of a plow handle, and a mountain that has the color of a neem tree, and likewise a pleasant and beautiful mountain, and a mountain like a rock horse ear, and a mountain that bends towards the center, and the Axis-Holder Mountain that surrounds everything. Then, in the four directions, the coarsest gathering and separating wind churned them into lumps, so continents such as Lus-phag and others were formed simultaneously. Outside of all of that is the surrounding Iron Mountain. Its outer circumference is three million six hundred twenty-six thousand two hundred twenty-five yojanas. The seven inner mountains are golden, while the surrounding one is iron. Mount Sumeru is silver to the east, lapis lazuli to the south, red coral to the west, and gold to the north, being the nature of four jewels. The light from its surface makes the light of the sky and the ocean also appear in that color. All the mountains and islands rely on the golden ground, so they are submerged in the water by eighty thousand yojanas. Likewise, Mount Sumeru is also eighty thousand yojanas upwards. It is said by some that Mount Sumeru is one hundred sixty-eight thousand yojanas, and the ocean is also eighty-four thousand yojanas. But this is in accordance with the Vinaya-mula-sarvastivada. The height of these eight mountains decreases by half and half. From the forty thousand yojanas of Yoke-Holder to the three hundred thirteen and a half yojanas of the surrounding mountain. Their height is also like that. The width is equal to its own height above the water, that is, eighty thousand yojanas for Mount Sumeru, forty thousand yojanas for Yoke-Holder, and so on. Secondly, in the seven places from Mount Sumeru to those surrounding mountains, are the seven seas where the dragon kings play and frolic, and they are cool and delicious.
