Defiled. Everything else besides that. Other foods should also be calculated in the same way. The Vaibhashikas say that food has two aspects: eating and digestion. Eating things like bean flour can relieve hunger and thirst, so it is called food. The scriptures refer to food that increases. Third, the way of transferring at the end: What kind of consciousness ceases? Which part of the body ceases? What key is used to cut off? How does it change after cessation? There are four types. First, the decline of virtuous roots and their connection, detachment from desire in the desire and form realms, falling away from them, the transference of death, and the mind that takes birth in the intermediate state and the state of rebirth. Some of these six types of consciousness are with investigation, some are in meditative equipoise, and some are unclear, so they are considered to be only mental consciousness, and not others. The Yogachara school believes that the mind of birth and death is the alaya consciousness. The transference of death and birth take place in equanimity. Because other feelings besides equanimity are not clear, it is not possible. Therefore, the Suishunshi says that in the third dhyana, only the near attainment has the mind of death. Even if consciousness abides in single-pointed meditative equipoise, it is impossible to die, because it manifests a consciousness that is different from meditative equipoise, and because samadhi is born from the effort of manifesting activity, if it is clear and benefits the body, then the mind of death is the opposite of that. There is no death in the state of abiding in the three unconsciousnesses, because it is not possible to harm those who abide in them, and because at death consciousness is transferred, and at birth consciousness is connected to another, but these are not present in them. Therefore, it is said that sentient beings without perception arise and have consciousness at the time of death. Moreover, one is not born without afflictions. With what kind of virtue, etc., does consciousness transfer at death? When an arhat enters nirvana, he abides in either the path of action or the prophecy of non-specified ripening. That is to say, the special case of the three virtues, etc., is that when an arhat enters nirvana, if it is thought that there is ripening equanimity, then it is either ripening-born or the unspecified of the path of action. If not, then it is abiding in the unspecified mind of the path of action. It is said that these two types of consciousness are weak in strength and agree with the interruption of the stream of consciousness, but not with other clear consciousnesses. The Suishunshi says that the undefiled does not have a death mind.

In terms of conduct, the virtuous deeds that are free from non-virtuous afflictions are tainted, possessing the ripening result, and therefore turning away from it is called having no virtue. Others gradually abandon samsara, having severed attachment to the desire realm, therefore it is non-virtuous; having severed attachment to the peak of existence, therefore it is indeterminate; Nirvana, the mind is not obscured, the indeterminate manifests, therefore it is virtuous; entering into nirvana without remainder, therefore it is abandoning the indeterminate. Second, at the time of death, in which part of the body does consciousness cease? The three lower realms, as well as humans and gods, or those who are reborn, or the arhats who are not reborn into nirvana, these are born miraculously, and all the organs of the body cease together, therefore it is uncertain. If it is gradual death, the evil realms from the feet, humans from the central channel, gods and arhats transfer consciousness from the heart. Some say that arhats transfer from the crown of the head. Consciousness does not stay in the mind faculty, but like water poured on a heated stone, it disappears in the feet and other parts of the body, this is called the transfer of consciousness. Some believe that, except for the part that collects heat, ultimately everyone's coemergent wisdom transfers from the heart. Third, cutting off the vital point of life is by water, fire, wind, etc. That is, by wind, bile, and phlegm. That is, any one of them being disturbed, causing unbearable feelings, damaging the parts of the body, like being struck by a weapon, without wavering, it is established there, not like cutting a tree. The earth does not cut off the vital point of life because there are no faults other than the three, and some say it is the destruction of the vessel and in accordance with the Dharma. Those who do good deeds, and those who do not touch the vital points, and those who die together like gods, there is no cutting off of the vital point of life. Fourth, what will become after death? Those who practice the holy path and commit the five heinous crimes, in turn, are born in the pure high realms, and are certain to be liberated, those who commit evil are certain to fall into the evil realms, and the rest are uncertain. Second, where to be born, in the vessel world. There are two types: the measurable world and the method of measurement. First, the order and measure of the vessel world. By the way, there are two types: showing the order and measure of sentient beings. First, there are explanations of the earth mandala, etc., there are explanations of the three: mountains, seas, and continents, there are three types of explanations of the abodes of sentient beings separately. First, the four of the earth mandala, etc., in order. Some worlds are round, some are elongated, without an upper cover, some have no sun and moon, some
