These are also included. In the five treatises of the Yogācāra school, the state of the continuous succession of cause and effect is designated as "entering." 1. The state of distinguishing between the different results of wholesome and unwholesome causes, which are desirable and undesirable, is designated as individual determination. 2. The state of the result of generosity, the perfection of enjoyment, being agreeable and suitable, etc., is designated as "abundance." 3. Some also say that it is "related to karma and abundance." The state of the rapid occurrence of cause and effect is designated as "swiftness." 4. The state of cause and effect not occurring simultaneously, but occurring in sequence, is designated as "order." 5. The state of cause and effect arising and ceasing, not arising, and arising but not ceasing, is designated as "time." 6. The state of cause and effect being material and existing in the ten directions is designated as "place." 7. The state of each phenomenon being different is designated as "number." 8. The state of the aggregation of causes and conditions that produce the result is designated as "collection," which makes a total of nine, and adding the previous ones, there are twenty-three in total. Furthermore, it is said in the *Ten Places Sutra* that there are seven hundred non-associated formations, which is well known. Conditioned phenomena that are not form and consciousness are non-associated. The second part is divided into two parts: explaining the fourteen non-associated formations individually, and explaining the other differences of these non-associated formations. The first part has nine aspects: attainment. 1. Non-attainment. 2. Commonality. 3. Non-perceiver. 4. Non-perceptual attainment. 5. Cessation attainment. 6. Life force. 7. Characteristic. 8. Name, sentence, and word, for a total of nine aspects. 9. The first aspect is divided into two: essence and difference. First, "attainment" refers to the substance that enables the object to be attained to possess the quality of being attainable. There are two types: newly acquired and continuously possessed from the second moment onwards. The attainment of attainment is like the attainment from not having attained before, such as the attainment of the first moment of the uncontaminated. The attainment of deterioration is like thought-formed form. The continuous possession of both of these, and the afflictions of the peak of existence that ordinary beings always possess, are five in total. Second, there are seven differences: whether it belongs to one's own continuum or not, the difference of time, the difference of virtue, etc., the difference of which realm it exists in and which it does not, the difference of being a learner, etc., and not being a learner, the difference of being abandoned and not being abandoned, and the difference of whether attainment existed before or not. First, attainment and non-attainment refer to what belongs to one's own continuum.

The dharmas are only of that nature, and not of other continuums and sentient being continuums. However, it is contradictory for other dharmas to be attained by others, because what is not included in the continuum is common, and the attainment is not common to individuals. Although not belonging to the continuum, the attainment of the two cessations arises in the continuum of the individual, because what is to be abandoned is related to the continuum. Second, the attainment of the dharmas to be attained in the three times also has three aspects: the attainment of the past dharma is past, and although the dharma is past, the attainment can also exist in the present and future. Similarly, there are three in the present and three in the future. Although the attainment of the two cessations is included in time, the two have no distinction of time. The attainment of the future, those with the three times, are all of the nature of future birth. For some powerful dharmas to be attained, there is attainment in the three times. Combine the three times with the present moment and its past and future. Third, since what is to be attained is virtuous, etc., the attainment of non-virtuous and neutral is also definitely virtuous, etc. Fourth, the attainment of those belonging to that dharma realm is also of their own realm. That is, if one attains the dharma of the desire realm on the basis of the desire realm, then that attainment is also of the desire realm. If one attains the dharma of the two upper realms, then that attainment also belongs to those two realms. It is the same for the basis of the form realm. The dharma of the desire realm is like a manifested mind. For the basis of the formless realm, there is only the dharma of the formless realm, so that attainment also belongs only to that. For dharmas that do not belong to the realm, the attainment of cessation and path, etc., has four aspects. For non-analytical cessation, it does not matter what dharma is to be attained. If one attains what one desires, then whatever desire, etc., is attained belongs to that realm. Analytical cessation, worldly path, what is attained by concentration belongs to the form realm, what is attained by the formless concentration belongs to the formless realm, and what is attained by the transcendental path, the uncontaminated path, belongs to the uncontaminated realm, because the cause or antidote is powerful. Analytical cessation, what is attained by the noble ones through the worldly path is both contaminated and uncontaminated. What is attained by the path truth does not belong to the realm, but belongs to the uncontaminated realm, because that dharma is powerful. Fifth, the attainment of the dharmas of the path truth of the learners, the attainment of the dharmas of the path truth of the learners and non-learners is non-learning, and what is not both of them is the two cessations and what is included in the continuum.
