Pleasure and other inverted thoughts arise. From this, afflictions such as attachment arise. This makes the mind afflicted. Therefore, it is the order of arising all afflictions. Or, by means of vessels and so on, by the meaning of food and dishes being in accordance with the cook and the eater, that is, form is the basis of feeling. Feeling is food. Perception is the manifestation of feeling, it is the dish. The mind gathers the feeling of ripening and approaches it, therefore it is the cook, like the nourisher of food. Consciousness benefits from feeling, like the eater. Or, like the desire realm and so on. Also, the desire realm is distinguished by form, because the merit of desire is form. The form realm is distinguished by feeling. The first is mental pleasure and happiness. The second is mental pleasure. The third is mental happiness. The fourth is equanimity. The first three formless realms are distinguished by perception. The peak of existence is distinguished only by formation, thereby projecting a lifespan of eighty thousand kalpas, and it is the basis of those consciousnesses. Second, in order to grasp the meaning of the present, the first five sense bases are taught first. The mind is the object of the three times and non-time, and also of the unconditioned, therefore it is taught later. Among those five, because the first four, such as the eye, only grasp the fruit of the elements, which is form, they are taught first. The body is the object of both, so it is taught later. Among those four, the eye and ear can reach very far, so they are taught first. The eye can reach farther than the ear, so it is taught first. The nose and tongue can only reach nearby objects, so they are taught later. The nose reaches the object faster than the tongue, so it is taught first. Or, according to the order in which the eye and so on reside on the body, from the eye residing first, to the body mostly sinking below. Just as the order of the inner sense bases is established, so is the outer, with the subject showing the object. The order of the realms is also established by this, because it is shown according to the order of the cause. Fourth, if all ten sense bases are form, why is only the object of the eye called the form sense base? Because merely stating that the object of the eye is form is necessary to realize that the ten sense bases have their own distinct meanings, so it is said that way, and because form with indication and obstruction is the main one. Form

Among the ten realms, only the eye realm is specifically given a general term, while the others are referred to by their own names. Although everything is Dharma, just as the seven realms are called Dharma, the nameless becomes named, and the others are understood by their own names. This is because it has obtained a general term. Alternatively, because it gathers many Dharmas such as feeling, and because the supreme Nirvana of Dharma is also included in this, it is said in order that the eye realm is the form aggregate and realm, and the mind realm is the Dharma aggregate and realm. Secondly, regarding including others by the name of aggregates and realms, the inclusion of the Dharma aggregate is actually explained. It is implied that others are included by this. Regarding the views on the two realms, three kinds are explained separately. The first is actual inclusion, and incidentally, there are two views on the measure of the Dharma aggregate. First, there are eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma. Those are all spoken by the Able One. The Sutra School believes that the sound that is the object of the ear is a word with its own characteristics, or the Vaibhashikas believe that the object of the mind is a non-corresponding name. Therefore, those, according to the former, are included in form, and according to the latter, are included in formations. Secondly, some say that the Dharma aggregate is only the amount of treatises that Shariputra has slightly compiled. There are six thousand verses there. If that is the case, the words of the eighty thousand Dharma aggregates would be four hundred million, eight hundred million. There are one million six hundred and eighty thousand volumes. According to the saying that each verse has thirty-two words, it becomes twenty-eight Tibetan syllables. Others say that aggregates and so on are realms, places, dependent origination, etc. Each complete talk showing a chapter is a Dharma aggregate, and there is no fixed number of verses. For the eighty thousand different afflictive behaviors such as attachment and aversion, the aggregates of Dharma are also taught accordingly. Secondly, similarly, in the Sutras, it is also taught according to various situations that the uncontaminated aggregate is exhaustion, the overpowering place. In the Sutra of Many Realms, the sixty-two realms should be well studied for their respective characteristics, and as said, they should be included in the aggregate realm place. Moreover, according to the view of the Vaibhashikas, the five uncontaminated aggregates are the discipline form, the two of concentration and wisdom are formations, and liberation is
