The Teaching on Realms. The Teaching on Realms. Secondly, there are two aspects: establishing what is knowable in general, and explaining what to abandon and adopt in particular. The first aspect: Briefly stating and elaborating are two. First: If the subject matter is summarized, it is the phenomena of contaminated and uncontaminated; there is no third aggregate other than these. Second, there are two aspects: identifying the nature of contaminated and uncontaminated, and how to categorize them into aggregates, realms, and sources. The first aspect has two parts: explaining the contaminated and explaining the uncontaminated. The first part has two aspects: identifying the nature of the contaminated and the reason why it is contaminated. First: Among them, all conditioned phenomena of suffering and origin, except for the truth of the path of the three noble ones, are contaminated. Second: Because the contaminated afflictions increase in those conditioned phenomena. Furthermore, although it is possible to summarize conditioned and unconditioned phenomena into two categories, here it is for the purpose of indicating what to abandon and adopt, or other meanings that can be expressed. Moreover, contamination is the root and near afflictions. Increase means continuously arising due to dwelling, or the contaminations are also mutually agreeable and harmonious with them. In the Abhidharmasamuccaya, it is said to be contaminated because of its connection with the six doors of contamination. The nature of contamination is the nature of root and near afflictions. Being associated with contamination means the mind and mental factors that arise together with contamination, and its dominant causes, such as the eye, etc., similarly possessing and being the basis. Being bound by contamination means the virtues of the three realms are all contaminated. Being related to contamination means possessing the bad destinies of contamination. Being in accordance with contamination means not being its antidote but being agreeable to it, or it means that forms, etc., are the objects of affliction, so they are the objects of contamination. Arising from the cause of contamination means being its result, so it is contaminated. Among them, space and non-analytical cessation are not the objects of contamination, and although cessation and path are objects, they do not increase because they are peaceful, and they are not possessed but are antidotes. Second, regarding the uncontaminated, there are two aspects: a general explanation and a detailed explanation of the three cessations. First: The uncontaminated is the truth of the path and the three types of unconditioned phenomena that are not produced by causes and conditions, because the place of contamination does not arise and they are not mutually agreeable, so they cannot increase. If the conditioned phenomena are not the truth of the path,

If it is said that because it has already been said to be contaminated, the path and the unconditioned are understood as uncontaminated, then it is meaningless to repeat it, if asked. Because the path has past and unpast, is the path truth understood here as uncontaminated? Or is it said to exclude the three? What are those three? They are space and the two cessations of conditioned and unconditioned. If it is said that Suchness is also unconditioned, why are there three? Because Suchness does not admit the absence of self of phenomena, the cessation truth of the absence of self of the individual is conditioned cessation, and the aspects of the other three truths are conditioned phenomena, so Suchness, the separate unconditioned, does not exist. Conditioned cessation is the result of separation, and it is not considered to be born from a cause, but is considered to be a separate entity. Second, space is free from both the object to be obscured and the obscurer, and because it has no obstruction or contact, it does not obscure. If it is said that mental activities and the two cessations also become space, because they do not obscure, if said so. The reason is not established, because concentration can hinder the movement of the mind, and the two cessations obscure their respective objects to be negated, if said so. If so, according to the Vaibhashika's own system, the space that becomes the basis for the downward fall of wind etc. must also be abandoned. Although there is space in the position of other elements, it will not be mixed, just like the mind in the body, it is said. For the truths, obtained by the power of wisdom to examine each separately, whatever is cessation is separation from what is to be abandoned. Just like each object to be abandoned, the entities of the separated parts are different, not one. If it is one, then the later path would be meaningless, if said so. Because the conditions are not complete, it permanently hinders the arising of any future unarisen contaminated or uncontaminated phenomena. This is a cessation that is not examined separately other than conditioned cessation. Second, that is the way to classify it into aggregates, elements, and sources, identifying the nature of aggregates, elements, and sources, and determining their nature. First, the way to classify into aggregates etc., and two ways to refute disputes about the determination of the number of classifications. First, briefly indicate the five aggregates, and two ways to explain them in detail. First, there are two types of classification and nomenclature, first, the phenomena that are formed by the aggregation of causes and conditions, those are the contaminated and the path truth. The phenomena that have the nature of not arising in the future also become arising.
