For a Bodhisattva who is steadfast in all circumstances, it is essential to avoid being devoured by demons. The fifteenth point, what should be done constantly, is that the six things that should be done at all times, not just occasionally, are for the sake of perfecting the six perfections. To perfect the perfection of generosity, one should always understand the faults of attachment to the five desirable qualities, namely: the desirable qualities of samsara are impermanent like clouds and lightning. Attachment to them becomes a source of suffering, like poisonous food, a burning pit of fire, the edge of a sword, and a snake's nest. One should always remember that things are unreliable, like illusions and dreams. Similarly, for the sake of morality, one should contemplate and be mindful of the errors of one's own body, speech, and mind's actions. One should also repeatedly contemplate how sentient beings, under the control of afflictions, have little freedom and wander in the waves of the three sufferings, and generate great compassion, put on armor, and for their sake, become accustomed to willingly accepting various sufferings. If a lazy person cannot even accomplish worldly affairs, what need is there to mention transcendental matters? If one exerts effort, one can even attain the state of Buddhahood, what else need be said? Thinking that diligence is the indispensable root of all virtuous dharmas, one should constantly meditate on and accomplish the virtues of both the world and beyond. Since one cannot attain virtuous dharmas with a distracted mind, meditation is indispensable, but if one tastes and clings to the bliss of meditation, that will also become a bondage. Therefore, even when practicing meditation, one should always avoid tasting its bliss, so that one will not degenerate from meditation. The wisdom that knows all phenomena as they are and as many as they are is the most important of all the perfections and is indispensable. However, since none of the phenomena from form to omniscience have any characteristics established by their own nature or essence, if one clings to any phenomenon as a real entity and characteristic, one has not realized the meaning of the nature of reality, because this will become a stain that obscures the nature of what is to be known. Therefore, with respect to all phenomena, if one possesses non-conceptualization of the characteristics of the grasper and the grasped, then the perfection of wisdom is completely...

In order to be complete. Therefore, these six dharmas are constant activities for Bodhisattvas, who are firmly established on all grounds without any difference. Sixteenth, the main or supreme activity is: Among the six perfections, those Bodhisattvas who possess the supreme or sacred objects also become supreme and sacred because of that very cause. What is it? Among the three divisions of giving, the giving of Dharma is the main or supreme, because the giving of material things and protection only accomplishes worldly happiness, while the giving of Dharma also accomplishes the perfection that transcends the world. Therefore, as it is said in the Noble Vajra Cutter Sutra and others: If someone were to fill the universe of three thousand great thousand worlds with the seven precious jewels and give them away, it would be better if someone were to teach and explain just one four-line verse from this sutra, the merit would increase immeasurably. Among the three disciplines of individual liberation, meditation, and uncontaminated discipline, uncontaminated discipline is the supreme or main, because it is the extremely pure discipline that pleases the noble ones. Among the three kinds of patience, obtaining the patience of non-arising dharmas, which belongs to the category of patience that definitely understands the Dharma, is the main one. Among all the diligence of worldly beings and Hearers and Solitary Realizers, the diligence that arises from hearing, thinking, and meditating on the Dharma of the Great Vehicle is the supreme and main one. Among the four meditations, the ultimate end of perfect equanimity of calm and insight is the fourth meditation, and abiding in it with immeasurable compassion is the supreme of all meditations. The Perfection of Wisdom is the supreme or main among the previous five perfections, as it is said in the Mother Sutra: If you want to perfect the Perfection of Giving, you should train in the Perfection of Wisdom. As it is said and so on. Therefore, wise Bodhisattvas consider the Perfection of Wisdom to be the main one among the perfections. Seventeenth, the classification of teaching the Dharma is the classification of the categories of the Dharma to be taught, and the complete understanding of its meaning.
