It is praised as a Bodhisattva in terms of the virtue of accomplishing benefits. The faults of completely grasping enjoyments oneself are that they are meaningless, impermanent, suffering, and like illusions, and that the fault of attachment to enjoyments causes rebirth in the lower realms and becomes an obstacle to obtaining worldly and transworldly perfections, etc. Knowing these faults, one gives alms, does not become attached to desirable enjoyments, renounces household life and becomes ordained, keeping the precepts, not harboring resentment in one's heart for harm done by others, but being patient, striving in the yoga of calm abiding and special insight of the Great Vehicle, and constantly meditating on one-pointed samadhi, being skilled in the three reasons of the characteristics of calm abiding, or the characteristics of praise or grasping, and the characteristics of abandonment, and possessing wisdom free from evil views such as the view of self, therefore, one is an inner abiding Bodhisattva, and in this way, one is praised from the aspect of truly abiding inwardly. Having compassion for suffering sentient beings, one gives alms, abides in the virtue of shame, therefore, one keeps the precepts, endures suffering such as harm from others, does not become attached to one's own happiness such as sleep and laziness, but strives diligently for the benefit of others, and mainly possessing constant mindfulness, therefore, one is not turned by distraction, and constantly possessing the wisdom of equality that all dharmas are free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, therefore, one is the nature of being extremely equally abiding. One is a Bodhisattva of non-distraction from the Great Vehicle. This is praised from the aspect of the virtue of non-distraction from the path of the Great Vehicle. The commentator Lodro Tenzin said: In all these passages, the first three lines accomplish the six perfections, and the fourth line shows the dedication to unsurpassed Bodhi. Giving eliminates the suffering of others' poverty, keeping precepts does not cause suffering to sentient beings by killing and stealing, etc., enduring all one's own suffering, entering samsara for the benefit of others, and not fearing suffering in striving for the benefit and happiness of sentient beings, and the samadhi of

Having attained freedom, being liberated from the suffering and unpleasantness of the desire realm, and with wisdom not clinging to the characteristics of suffering, such a one who accepts or tolerates suffering is a Bodhisattva. This praises the Bodhisattva for not abandoning the suffering-filled cycle of existence and not being discouraged by suffering. Not delighting in the Dharma of miserliness and non-giving, delighting in the Dharma of discipline that is without fault and has become the nature of merit, denouncing the Dharma of anger and being manifestly diligent in virtuous Dharma, mastering the Dharma, gaining mastery of the mind through the power of meditative concentration, and possessing wisdom without the darkness of ignorance towards all Dharmas, therefore, one who makes the correct Dharma the foremost is a Bodhisattva. This praises the Bodhisattva for not making worldly things the foremost but making the sacred Dharma the foremost. Those who have possessions but do not give to others, only accumulating and protecting, are negligent, and ultimately possessions will be wasted. Therefore, in order to make possessions meaningful, giving to others is being mindful of possessions. Not guarding against transgressions of precepts and natural faults is negligence. Those who possess discipline, whose three doors are tamed, and who are not defiled by transgressions of precepts and natural faults are called mindful of taming; some say "mindful of others," but according to the translation of the 'Blo brtan Commentary,' taming is better. Some emphasize "mindful of the face," but this is just a clerical error. Being unable to endure harm from others and retaliating is negligence because one has not protected one's own and others' minds. A Bodhisattva, when harmed by others, does not become disturbed in mind, does not retaliate, but instead offers help; this is mindfulness of protecting oneself and others, it is patience. Not being negligent by not practicing virtuous Dharma due to laziness, but being mindful of practicing virtuous actions of both the world and beyond the world is diligence. Not having craving for savoring the bliss of meditative concentration is mindfulness of bliss. Clinging to permanence, pleasure, self, and purity in phenomena is negligence. Realizing impermanence and so forth without distortion is the wisdom of mindfulness of Dharma. Thus, the Great Vehicle
