So, if these two, which demonstrate the activities of the Buddha such as manifesting enlightenment, are counted as one, then there are eight. If the latter four are counted separately, then they are established as ten. Up to this point, seventeen types have been explained, from the wondrous qualities of a Bodhisattva's practice to the establishment. Second, regarding the qualities of extreme praise, it is divided into two parts: the classification of the Bodhisattva as the object of praise, and the actual content of the praise. First, those who abide on the eleven grounds, including the ten grounds and the ground of conduct by aspiration, are called Bodhisattvas. This can also be summarized into five categories of states: First, those who abide on the ground of conduct by aspiration, although they have not manifested the characteristic of the all-pervading Dharmadhatu, are called 'having aspiration' because they have faith and trust in the Dharmadhatu. A Bodhisattva who has entered the first ground is called 'having pure superior intention,' because having realized the characteristic of the all-pervading Dharmadhatu, and having obtained the mind of equality between self and others, they have the superior intention of bearing the burden of benefiting others, and the obscurations to be abandoned by seeing are completely purified. These are two different from the previous classification of Bodhisattvas. Those who abide on the second to sixth grounds are called 'Bodhisattvas with signs,' because on the second ground they practice on the signs of distinguishing the various vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas; on the third ground, the sign of viewing the spontaneously arising collection of fears; on the fourth ground, seeing the sign of harming the truths of suffering and origin, and seeing the sign of peace in the truths of cessation and path; on the fifth ground, engaging in various places of skillful activities and the conceptualization of their signs; and on the sixth ground, conceptualizing the signs of the arising and ceasing of dependent origination. Those who abide on the seventh ground are called 'Bodhisattvas without signs,' because they have abandoned all the signs that arise below the sixth ground. Those who abide on the three grounds of the irreversible eighth, ninth, and tenth grounds are called 'Bodhisattvas who practice without manifest effort,' because with non-conceptual samadhi, effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished, they are able to accomplish the benefit of self and others.

rir ro. Thus, these five stages of Bodhisattvas should be understood as the distinctions of Bodhisattvas who dwell on all grounds. Secondly, the praise of the nature of these five Bodhisattvas is: praising the meaning of the word Bodhisattva from the aspect of the cause, the perfection of generosity, with irreversible diligence; from the aspect of the result, the realization of enlightenment, praising the meaning of the word Bodhisattva, there are two types. The first is praised with nine names such as Bodhi joy, and the second is showing the types of names of Bodhisattvas. The first is shown with nine verses such as non-attachment to desire, that is, not being attached to the enjoyment of the five objects of desire, completely giving away inner and outer things, practicing the perfection of generosity; in terms of discipline, the three doors of body, speech and mind have no unwholesome actions, completely pure; in terms of patience, abiding in patience, subduing anger with patience; with diligence, taking the supreme qualities of virtue that transcend the world; with meditation, not wavering from the Dharma that abides in one-pointedness; with wisdom, seeing the profound reality of the two selflessnesses, thus practicing the six perfections, also rejoicing in obtaining the great fruit of enlightenment, and practicing for that purpose, and dedicating to it, therefore it is a Bodhisattva with joy in enlightenment. This verse praises the qualities of the complete purity of the six perfections. Similarly, with generosity, wishing to benefit sentient beings; with discipline, not looking or hoping that there is no harm to the lives, possessions and wives of other beings; with patience, enduring the harm of others; with diligence, initiating steadfast diligence that does not retreat from diligence; with careful meditation that dwells in solitude, without distraction, and does not cling to the taste of meditation; with the wisdom of having heard many true teachings, the Bodhisattva who strives for the sake of other sentient beings. Because all the perfections are practiced, temporarily accomplishing the affairs of sentient beings, ultimately dedicating to the supreme enlightenment for the sake of accomplishing the affairs of all sentient beings. With this, others
