I will appear completely without hindrance. At that time, the distraction of the aspect of grasping of external objects such as form will be eliminated and become invisible. After that, the conceptualization or distraction of the aspect of grasping, thinking "there is mind" in the yogi's mind, remains only as a remainder and is not abandoned. This is the time of samadhi when patience itself enters one side. At that time, if the grasped does not exist, then how can the grasping mind exist? Thus, quickly realizing that the two are of the same nature, and touching the immediately following samadhi with the path of seeing and the uninterrupted path, therefore the supreme dharma is the time of the immediately following samadhi. What does immediately following mean? Like this, after the patience of realizing that the grasped does not exist, the distraction of the aspect of grasping will also be abandoned, and immediately after that, one will enter the first bhumi, therefore the supreme dharma is called immediately following. These just spoken of should be understood in order as the four paths of joining, such as the heat stage. It was said how the path of seeing is obtained immediately after obtaining the supreme dharma. After that, the bodhisattva who has attained the supreme dharma, with wisdom that transcends the world, surpasses the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and is unsurpassed. Because of seeing non-conceptualization in the three spheres, it is free from the afflictions to be abandoned, therefore it is immaculate. Because of abandoning the grasped and the grasper, one obtains freedom from the two graspers. The sutra says that for the Dharma, one obtains the eye of Dharma, which is without dust and immaculate, because abandoning the grasped and the grasper is without dust, and being free from what is abandoned by seeing and what is abandoned by cultivation is immaculate. Or, patience is without dust, it is the antidote to the two obscurations of affliction and knowledge, the uninterrupted path, and wisdom is the path of liberation, therefore it is immaculate. For the Dharma, it refers to the dharmata of all dharmas, the eye or wisdom eye that sees suchness as it is. Thus, the arising of non-conceptual wisdom is the complete transformation of the alaya-vijnana of this bodhisattva, that is, it is considered that the holy ground is the first bhumi. Then, how long does it take to obtain the first bhumi? Now, this one who is completely transformed and abides in the first bhumi is a Bodhi in the stage of adhimukti-carya for one immeasurable kalpa.

Thus, the Bodhisattva practices immeasurable conduct, and upon attaining the noble ground, the faults of samsara never arise, and therefore it becomes extremely pure. The distinction of the qualities of attaining this ground is: the Dharmadhatu is equal in that it is without distinction in all dharmas such as the dharmas of ordinary beings and the dharmas of noble ones, and upon realizing this equality at the time of attaining this ground, one constantly attains a mind of equality or sameness towards all sentient beings, without any difference from oneself. Therefore, understanding the five kinds of equality is: understanding that sentient beings are equally without self, and that the suffering of all sentient beings who experience suffering due to ignorance is equally something to be abandoned; and that the arising of karma and afflictions of those sentient beings is equally something to be done to be abandoned; one enters the path and attains the truth of cessation, and although one benefits oneself, one does not expect repayment, similarly, guiding other sentient beings to the path of cessation and giving benefit is no different from one's own benefit, and one does not expect repayment from sentient beings, and this son of the Victorious One is thus equal in mind, and other Bodhisattvas who have attained the noble ground are equal or the same in terms of abandonment and realization. Having explained the manner of engaging in benefiting others in this way, the distinction of realization by wisdom is: the Bodhisattva who has attained the first ground sees all conditioned dharmas of the three realms, such as the five aggregates of the desire realm and the form realm and the four aggregates of the formless realm, as merely the mind and mental factors of the unreal pervasive conceptualization in the minds of sentient beings, and apart from the mind and mental factors, there are no other dharmas, and one sees only mind with the pure worldly wisdom of subsequent attainment. As it is said in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds: "O sons of the Victorious One, these three realms are only mind." With what wisdom does one see? One sees with non-conceptual wisdom, the obscurations are extremely pure, and one sees with the meaning of non-duality of grasping and being grasped. In the samadhi of non-conceptual wisdom, one does not perceive self and other, nor does one perceive only mind, it is pure and without grasping like the face of the sky, although one realizes in this way, with the wisdom of subsequent attainment of the meaning of realization, there are no other dharmas apart from only mind.
