Although it appears to arise from conditions, it has no self-nature; the completely imputed has no arising or no self-nature by its own characteristics; the perfectly established ultimate nature abides from the beginning, without the self-nature of arising and ceasing. Considering these three, it should be understood that it is said to be without self-nature, without arising and ceasing, and so on. Ninth, completely seeking the forbearance of the unarisen dharma, which is shown by one verse, such as "the first and." If it is said in the sutras that one has obtained the forbearance of the unarisen dharma, then what is its characteristic? Answer: Enduring the eight unarisen dharmas with the mind is said to be the forbearance of the unarisen dharma. What are the eight? The forbearance of the first unarisen, that is, one should not cling to the belief that samsara has a beginning, thinking that samsara arose at this time, because no creator, whether it is Ishvara or Brahma, newly created samsara. Rather, from beginningless time, the twelve links of dependent origination have arisen in succession from one to another. Therefore, its beginning cannot be found, so enduring that samsara has no first arising means obtaining forbearance of that meaning. And, in samsara, what has already been born before does not arise again, that is, what has already been born and ceased does not exist, so one should not think that what has ceased will arise again. Therefore, enduring that what has already been born does not arise again is the second type of forbearance. The so-called "otherness" means that the skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, which were previously well-known in samsara, will arise again and again, but new dharmas that did not exist before, other than the skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, and new sentient beings that did not exist before, will not arise, which is the third type. The completely imputed is unarisen by its own characteristics, just as a rabbit's horn does not arise, so enduring that it does not arise is the fourth type. The dependent arising does not arise by itself, but arises due to other causes and conditions, so enduring that it does not arise is the fifth type. The perfectly established is without the arising of becoming other, that is, it is like space, and can never become other, enduring this is the sixth type. After the noble Arhats have abandoned all the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of meditation,

After obtaining the wisdom of exhaustion, knowing that all afflictions will never arise again, the patience for that meaning is the seventh kind. Knowing the wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising, especially the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas has no two obscurations arising again, or the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas is of one nature, without difference, how did the Dharmakaya of some previous Buddhas arise? Different from that, how will the Dharmakaya of some later Buddhas arise, because the arising of the Dharmakaya has no difference, it will not arise inconsistently. Patience for this kind of non-arising way is the eighth kind. Patience for the meaning of the eight kinds of non-arising that are spoken of is the kind of patience that is patient with the Dharma of non-arising. Generally speaking, by the way of being patient with the Dharma of non-arising, three kinds of small, medium, and large arise from obtaining patience. When obtaining patience on the path of preparation, the patience of being patient with the meaning of non-arising in a general way is small patience. The patience of realizing non-arising manifestly on the first ground of the path of seeing is the state of medium. When non-conceptual wisdom is fully matured on the eighth ground, because all dharmas are non-arising from the beginning, one does not waver in equanimity and subsequent attainment, therefore one obtains great patience for the Dharma of non-arising. Bodhisattvas who have obtained patience and do not regress will be prophesied to become Buddhas. In particular, the eighth ground is also called the ground of prophecy. However, due to necessity, there will also be cases of prophesying Buddhahood to those who abide in the lineage and those who have just generated Bodhicitta. The so-called patience for the Dharma of non-arising, because there is no Dharma that has become other than the Dharmadhatu, so it mainly speaks of patience for the meaning that all Dharmas are non-arising from the beginning. Tenth, completely seeking the intention of showing the One Vehicle. It is shown through seven verses such as Dharma and non-self. Some sutras say there are three vehicles, and some say there is one vehicle, so what is the necessity of these? Because the sutras have two kinds of provisional and definitive meanings, the Mind-Only School believes that saying three vehicles is definitive meaning, and saying one vehicle is provisional meaning, if according to this statement, ultimately there is only one vehicle.
