arising, is through the path of the Great Vehicle. Third, possessing excellent qualities, eliminating obstacles to obtaining qualities such as the six superknowledges, powers, and fearlessness, thereby manifesting these qualities. Achieving the manifestation of these qualities is extremely pure and free. Seventeenth, contemplating the path of the Lesser Vehicle, the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Eighteenth, contemplating the path of the Great Vehicle, the Bodhisattva path of vast nature. These eighteen contemplations of yogis are considered to encompass all contemplations of both the Great and Lesser Vehicles. Second, seeking the meaning of the objects to be realized, including: completely seeking Suchness, completely seeking illusion-like phenomena, similarly completely seeking the knowable, completely seeking defilement and purification, completely seeking mere consciousness, completely seeking characteristics, completely seeking liberation, completely seeking selflessness, completely seeking acceptance of the unborn nature of phenomena, completely seeking the intention of the One Vehicle, completely seeking the five sciences, totaling eleven categories. Among them, first, completely seeking the Suchness of phenomena, constantly free from duality, etc., in two verses. Seeking the Suchness of all defiled and purified phenomena should be understood through the three natures: the imputed, the dependent, and the perfected. Although constantly free from the two, grasper and grasped, the appearance of the two, grasper and grasped, is the characteristic of the imputed. Thus, although there are no two, grasper and grasped, what is the basis or support of the delusion that they appear as two? It is the dependent. What is that which cannot be expressed in any way by language and is the nature of non-conceptual elaboration? It is the perfected, the Suchness of all phenomena. It is separate from the phenomena of grasper and grasped, therefore it is the nature of non-elaboration, which should be known individually by oneself. Thus, the characteristic of the imputed should be known as not existing, like a snake on a rope. The impure characteristic of the dependent is to be abandoned, because the appearance of grasper and grasped existing in the dependent is to be purified. Naturally pu

That which is considered to be without defilement is that on the perfectly established, all adventitious stains must be completely purified. That which is naturally without defilement is, if considered in terms of its own nature, like the sky being naturally pure, gold being naturally pure, and water being naturally clear. Although there is no impurity in its own nature, like clouds in the sky, mud in gold, and turbidity in water, it is obscured by adventitious afflictions and has not manifested. Therefore, if one is separated from these afflictions, it is believed that the nature of purity will be manifested. If measured by the ultimate truth, in the realm of sentient beings, there is not even a particle of the object of grasping and the grasper that is different from the perfectly established nature of reality. Thus, although all abide in the state of that nature of reality, all beings of the three realms, without exception, do not realize that nature of reality and are completely ignorant of that reality, clinging to the object of grasping and the grasper as dharmas. Therefore, the perfectly established, which is the inherent nature of things, is abandoned in its entirety, and instead, there is a strong attachment to the non-existent imputed, which is a very perverse and serious form of worldly delusion. What is this like? Secondly, searching for the illusory: Like an illusion, the following fifteen verses explain. Although it does not truly exist, there is the experience of mere appearance. Therefore, all dharmas that appear as the grasped and the grasper, although they appear, have no inherent nature, like an illusion. For example, just as a magician, through the power of mantras, causes stones and other objects to actually appear as horses, elephants, and so on, in the same way, the cause of the appearance of the grasped and the grasper is the non-veridical imputation, which is the other-powered nature of the mind and mental factors that appear as the grasped and the grasper. The forms of the illusory appearances of horses, elephants, and so on, such as their bodies, limbs, and colors, appear like real horses and elephants. In the same way, the mistaken appearance of the grasped and the grasper is the very nature of imputation. Although non-existent, it is mistaken for the grasped and mistaken for the grasper. The nature of these two is imputation, like mistaking a rope for a snake. Just as the mantra of illusion has been cast...
