If compassion is shown to those, what need is there to mention compassion for other transmigrators who delight in the state of suffering, since they are not liberated from the three sufferings? Secondly, distinguishing the categories of qualities of the transformed state of the Buddha: Regarding "in the state," the state of the Buddha is completely transformed, possessing extraordinary qualities. What are they? Because it always solely benefits sentient beings, it is entering into benefiting others; that transformed state is the most supreme of all dharmas, such as the transformed states of worldly beings and those beyond the world, Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, so it is supremely entering; for individual ordinary beings, the causes for the arising of afflictions are: proximity to objects, inappropriate attention, and not abandoning the predispositions of afflictions. But the transformed state of the Buddha never enters into the causes for the arising of afflictions; having attained that transformed state, one's self can never enter into afflictions and non-virtuous actions, so it is turning away from that; once that transformed state is attained, it will never be lost until the end of samsara, entering without interruption at all times, so it is universally entering; or, because it enters into all dharmas that are antidotes to all afflictions, it is also called universally entering. Also, "two" refers to entering into the two: initially demonstrating manifest enlightenment and finally demonstrating entering into nirvana. From the Buddha, in all the ten directions of the world, the Buddha subdues beings with supreme emanations, constantly demonstrating the aspect of great enlightenment. In ultimate reality, there is no entering into those two, because having realized the equality of both samsara and nirvana, it is non-dual entering. Also, from the aspect of mere liberation from abandoning afflictions together with their seeds, it is similar or the same as Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. But especially, the transformed state of the Buddha is that which has abandoned the obscurations to knowledge, and surpasses Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas with qualities such as powers and fearlessness. Universally going is the nature of universally going in the three vehicles, because it teaches sentient beings the dharma of the three vehicles in accordance with their respective lineages, faculties, inclinations, and dispositions. This way of explaining the ten categories is the complete state of the Tathagatas.

is considered to be transformed. Therefore, the transformed state of the Buddha is endowed with excellent qualities and enters into all antidotal dharmas, so it should be understood as entering extensively. Fifth, the quality of being all-pervasive has two aspects: substance and dispelling doubts. First, the way it pervades all things of time and direction is: just as the sky is always considered to follow all things such as pillars and vases in the three times of past, present, and future. The stainless realm of dharma, the transformed state of the Buddha, is also considered to always follow all things of that time in the past, future, and present. All dharmas included in the three times do not go beyond suchness, and since that realm is naturally pure, there is no difference in essence between the time of the Buddha and the previous state. Just as the sky pervades and universally follows all forms of long, short, white, red, good, bad, and intermediate without any difference, so too does the realm of the Buddha pervade the continuum of all sentient beings, good, bad, and intermediate, and follow its nature of dharmata. The Buddha is the nature of the realm of dharma, which is extremely purified by adventitious stains. At the time of realizing the nature of the first bhumi, which is the all-pervasive realm of dharma, one attains equanimity towards oneself and all sentient beings. Because I am sentient beings and sentient beings are me, one realizes equality without difference, and by gradually completing the meditation on the ten bhumis, at the time of attaining the Buddha's ground, one completely understands the nature of sentient beings and all dharmas as the nature of complete enlightenment, so it is called following all sentient beings. Second, dispelling doubts is: since the nature of the Buddha follows all sentient beings and there is no difference, then the nature of all sentient beings' own minds, which is the nature of the Buddha, should always be visible, and why is the Buddha's form body not visible? This is because the continuum of sentient beings is obscured by obscurations, and it is shown not to be a vessel for seeing the Buddha. For example, even if there is a mandala of the moon in the sky,
