The pure lands are made of precious earth, wish-fulfilling trees, rivers of nectar, and adorned with immeasurable palaces, and the clouds of the collection of uncontaminated forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile objects gather, etc., displaying the complete and abundant wealth, and the wealth of the inner Dharma, for the nature of the self and common characteristics of all the profound and vast Dharmas, truthfully and correctly showing, thereby cutting off all the doubts of the retinue beings, and raining down the great rain of the Great Vehicle Dharma. The wisdom of accomplishing activities is: in all the limitless realms of the world, with different manifestations of body, speech, and mind, appearing in various forms, with those immeasurable and inconceivable manifestations, accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings. The Buddha's manifestations just mentioned are diverse, immeasurable, and inconceivable, because: at all times, in order to accomplish the differences in the realms, faculties, and inclinations of sentient beings, or to accomplish the distinctions of activities, they are diverse, that is, the Buddha manifests in the form of a Buddha in order to tame, and similarly, he also manifests as hearers, solitary realizers, bodhisattvas, gods, etc., in all beings, thereby accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, etc. In short, in order to show various immeasurable and boundless different manifestations, it is diverse. The manifestations also exceed the counting of hundreds and thousands of numbers, so it is called immeasurable. The so-called "fields" refer to the fields to be tamed, not one or a hundred, etc., limited fields, but the boundless, limitless, and infinite fields of the ten directions that exceed the number of the Ganges sands, it should be known that the Buddha's manifestation that shows the appearance of the dance of manifestation is inconceivable in all aspects. Third, the cause for accomplishing the four wisdoms, there are two types of causes: the cause of maturation and the cause of obtaining complete purity, the first of which is divided into the actual and the incidental meaning. First, in the state of ordinary beings, relying on a virtuous friend, holding through listening, thinking, and practicing the Great Vehicle Dharma, etc., this is the cause for obtaining the mirror-like wisdom, from this cause, gradually transforming the Alaya consciousness into the mirror-like wisdom.

Because of purity, because of upholding the Dharma, mirror-like wisdom arises, and the other three should be understood in the same way. In the stage of ordinary beings, cultivating the mind of loving-kindness towards all sentient beings as oneself, and becoming accustomed to equanimity, therefore equanimity wisdom arises. In the stage of faith and practice, truly hearing the Dharma, and without reversing it, extensively teaching it to other sentient beings, therefore discriminating wisdom arises. Similarly, because one accomplishes the activities of sentient beings oneself, therefore the wisdom of accomplishing activities arises. Thus, from these four causes, the four wisdoms truly arise. Therefore, in the stage of ordinary beings, in order to obtain these four unsurpassed wisdoms, generating the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, striving to accomplish these four causes as much as possible, and dedicating the attainment of these wisdoms as a dedication, from the perspective of the infallible interdependence of cause and effect, it will never be in vain, and will surely become the cause of obtaining wisdom. Secondly, if different sentient beings obtain such unsurpassed wisdom, they will become Buddhas with many different natures, then the Buddha will also become a self-characterized person, and his aggregates, elements, and sources of phenomena will also become many self-characterized, thus becoming conditioned and impermanent phenomena. If this is the case, then how can the statement that noble beings are distinguished by the unconditioned, not by the conditioned, be established? If there is no difference when attaining Buddhahood, then wouldn't it become meaningless for each sentient being to practice the path and attain the result? As long as there is the perception of clinging to persons and phenomena, there will appear to be persons with different continuums, as well as their aggregates, elements, and other different phenomena, but from the ultimate truth, the self-nature of phenomena and persons is emptiness, the luminous emptiness of the two selflessnesses, therefore, when such is directly realized, one will be separated from clinging to the self-nature of persons and phenomena, so in the Buddha-land, the Buddhas are the Dharma-realm self-nature wisdom body, the inconceivable all-aspects, therefore, the characteristics of this kind of self-characterized person and phenomena grasped by the ordinary mind,
