In terms of the three equalities: the support or place is equal, that is, the Dharmadhatu is extremely pure, equal to the Dharmakaya and without difference; the intention is equal, that is, all Sambhogakayas have no distinction of size, goodness, or badness, and all have the same intention to benefit sentient beings; the activity of all Nirmanakayas is equal, that is, they tame sentient beings. All Buddhas' Nirmanakayas appear as one, as previously stated. The meaning of saying that all Tathagatas' bodies are permanent is: the three permanences, that is, the Dharmakaya's nature is without birth and death, therefore its essence or nature is permanent; the Sambhogakaya constantly teaches the Dharma without interruption; the Nirmanakaya is continuously permanent, although sometimes it does not appear, but at other times it appears in a way that it continuously appears until the end of the sentient beings' realm, therefore it is permanent. Therefore, the three bodies of the Buddha are permanent. Second is the explanation of wisdom, divided into general explanation, detailed explanation, explanation of the cause of obtaining such wisdom, and explanation of the four aspects of all paths reaching the ultimate in the Buddha's wisdom. First, the Alaya-vijñana transforming into the Mirror-like Wisdom, from the complete purity of the Dharmadhatu, is constantly unmoving, abiding without arising and ceasing until the end of Samsara. The three wisdoms rely on the Mirror-like Wisdom, because they have arising and ceasing, so they are moving. What are the three wisdoms? That is, the afflicted mind transforming into the Wisdom of Equality, the consciousness transforming into the Discriminating Wisdom, and the five sense consciousnesses transforming into the Accomplishing Wisdom. Thus, the eight consciousnesses transform into only four wisdoms. The detailed explanation is divided into four points, among which, all knowable things appear in the Mirror-like Wisdom, but there is no distinction between grasper and grasped, no distinction between self and other, and no effort of manifestation, therefore there is no self-grasping. For example, various images appear in a mirror, but these images are not created by the mirror, and the mirror does not discriminate or create them. It is not like only acting on some objects and directions, and not acting on others.

Everything enters without distinction, so it is completely without distinction. It appears in all three times, so it is constantly present, and it is free from the two obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, so it is not confused about the object of perception, all knowable things, but realizes them as they are. The aspect is that because one constantly distinguishes "this is this" for this and that knowable thing, one does not grasp with real clinging, so there is no manifest tendency towards that object of perception, although it appears, but because one does not distinguish the characteristics of annihilation. It is the cause of all other wisdoms, because it is the cause. It is like the great ocean, the source of all precious wisdoms. This is called the Sambhogakaya Buddha, because it is its ultimate basis of establishment. Why is it called mirror-like wisdom? Just as a mirror and water can reflect all images, because in this wisdom the aspects of all knowable things appear, and one realizes their equality as they are, and realizes all that exists without mixing, and the characteristics of the images or aspects of the three wisdoms that spontaneously accomplish the benefit of sentient beings, arise based on that foundation, so it is called mirror-like wisdom. Equality wisdom refers to the fact that at the time of the first ground, one realizes the equality of self and sentient beings, and practices between the tenth grounds, even the subtle habits of grasping at self and mine are eliminated, and it becomes the equality wisdom of the pure Buddha ground. Abiding in the aspect or boundary of samsara and nirvana, it becomes the equality of samsara and nirvana without distinction, pacifying the grasping at both samsara and nirvana, this is the nature of equality wisdom. At all times, it possesses loving-kindness and compassion or great compassion, and for sentient beings, it is the agent that definitely shows various images such as the color and shape of the Buddha's body according to their respective preferences. Discriminating wisdom is the wisdom that constantly and unhinderedly knows all the characteristics of the self and general characteristics of all knowable things. It is just like a treasure of immeasurable samadhis and immeasurable dharani doors. Its function is the abundance of external desirable qualities in all the mandalas of the Buddha's retinue.
