Of Potowa. If one clings to the concept of signs, one will be far from the Prajnaparamita of the fruit and unable to attain it, but if one realizes the absence of signs, one will attain it quickly without being far, this is what he said. Lama lineage and so on, there are two verses, namely, lamas clinging to the Dharma of the Buddha as objects and signs, or Because the word “guru” has the meaning of heavy, as the Commentary on Intelligence says, “Heaviness and length, signs see diligence,” although endowed with the power of unsurpassed Bodhi and other wonderful qualities, they are seen as heavy because they are difficult to practice, and because they must be practiced for three great asamkhya kalpas, they are felt to be long, as well as the signs of the object to be meditated upon, and the Bodhisattvas who abide in the object with arrogance, thinking that they have exerted diligence for the sake of unsurpassed Bodhi and are superior to others, are called far from unsurpassed Bodhi. Because without separating from the object and arrogance, one cannot obtain the correct path to attain Bodhi. Just as it was said just now, all those views with objects are merely imputed names and one's own discriminations about this and that, and apart from that, they are not established in the nature of meaning, therefore, realizing that all dharmas are only one's own mind, and observing or seeing that mind without clinging to it as an object and a sign, Bodhisattvas who are without the discrimination of clinging to signs, will surely attain unsurpassed Bodhi, because non-discrimination will quickly attain forbearance of non-arising dharmas. Fourthly, in the time of sentient beings, it is inevitable that different streams and various dharmas appear different due to the power of their respective discriminations, but all dharmas are established by the power of discrimination, or are merely what is imputed by discrimination, Apart from that, there is nothing established in the self-nature or essence of things, therefore, by gradually purifying this discrimination with the wisdom of non-discrimination, when one attains the Suchness that is increasingly superior, that pacifies the proliferation of phenomena such as dharmas and persons, and is purified by the obscuration of the grasped and the grasper, the way in which Suchness attains equality without difference in the Dharmadhatu is, for example, rivers before they flow or enter the great ocean under the earth, to the east

Due to the different regions they occupy, the places are also different. The water is also like that, there are large rivers such as the Ganges (Ganga) and the Indus (Sindhu), and there are different forms of small waters such as streams. Compared to the great ocean, the water of these streams is also small. Their respective functions are also different, some produce phlegm, some produce bile, and some produce mucus, etc. There are also irrigating fields, washing, etc., which are used by various different beings, and their functions are different. The tiny or small creatures living in the water, such as frogs and tadpoles, will also approach and use these waters. If these streams all flow into the ocean, then they will all merge into the great ocean, relying on the golden foundation, the places will no longer be different but will become one. The surface of the ocean is wide and its depth is immeasurable, so it converges into a vast unity. All the water in the ocean has the same salty taste. The streams have the same function of expanding and contracting. The creatures living in the ocean, such as crocodiles and whales, which are huge, and various small creatures, often approach and use it, becoming very huge. Just like this example, the Bodhisattvas who have not finally entered the state of Buddhahood, their respective five aggregates are also different, their wisdom has differences in sharpness and dullness, good and bad, size, and because they have not eliminated all obstacles, they do not have the wisdom of knowing everything, and compared to the Buddha, their realization is very small. Their respective actions, such as giving, etc., are only doing what is appropriate at the appropriate time, so their actions are also different, and their realm is only benefiting the few sentient beings they can tame, so they are only used by these tamed beings, not like the Buddha who benefits immeasurable sentient beings in the ten directions. All these Bodhisattvas ultimately merge into the pure Dharmadhatu of the Buddha, and the nature of the four wisdoms such as mirror-like wisdom. The support or place is also one, that is, the pure Dharmadhatu, apart from this one, there is no different support caused by the difference of the five aggregates. All Bodhisattvas have the great realization of directly knowing all knowable things, without the difference of sharp or dull faculties, and have all
