Just as the sun shines and makes all things in that place appear simultaneously, similarly, all knowable things encompassed by the three times and ten directions are simultaneously illuminated by the wisdom of the Buddha, and everything is known at the same time. It is not that some things are known first and some things are known later, or that when one thing is known, another is not known. It is not this kind of partial knowledge, but knowing all knowable things in a single instant. For example, a mirror and sunlight can simultaneously reflect all things within their scope of action, without any before or after. Ninth, the karma of non-entry of wisdom: Just as the rays of the sun spread everywhere, but if they are obscured by clouds, houses, caves, etc., the light is said to not appear. Similarly, the rays of wisdom emitted by the Buddhas are obscured by the sins of sentient beings and do not appear. Those sins that have not become vessels for seeing the emanation body of the Buddha, hearing the Dharma, etc., prevent the wisdom of the Buddha from entering. Tenth, although the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have also realized the uncontaminated realm of liberation from the suffering of samsara, just as when a knot is tied in a white cloth and then dyed, the knot that has not been untied will be dyed, and the place where the knot has been untied will show a white pattern, so that one cloth has both dyed and undyed parts. Similarly, in the previous path of training, due to the power of aspiration and accumulation of merit, the manifestation and non-manifestation of wisdom in the realm of liberation are also different. The Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are liberated because they have exhausted the root of suffering in samsara, which is affliction, and the Buddha is also liberated from samsara because he has exhausted the obscurations of affliction, along with their habitual tendencies. However, because they have abandoned the obscurations of knowledge, and have perfected the previous aspirations and accumulation of merit, they have attained great wisdom, and therefore can continuously manifest the activities of wisdom, such as emanations, etc., while the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas do not have such abilities. Eleventh, summarizing the profound meaning, abiding in the stainless realm, like the four profound qualities of the Buddhas, and the ten qualities of profound abiding and profound activity, what the Buddha has taught is like drawing pictures in the sky with paint.
