Listen: Being similar or equal to oneself, especially the transformation of the Buddha, is abandoning the obscuration of knowledge, and surpassing the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas with qualities such as strength and fearlessness, and all-pervading, which means that in order to teach the Dharma of the Three Vehicles to sentient beings according to their respective roots, faculties, inclinations and suitability, it is the nature of all-pervading vehicles. Such a way of explaining the ten categories is considered to be the transformation of the Tathagatas. Therefore, the transformation of the Buddha is endowed with excellent qualities, and enters into all antidotal dharmas, so it should be understood as entering extensively. Fifth, the quality of all-pervasiveness, divided into two: substance and dispelling doubts. First, the way of pervading all things in time and space is: just as the sky is always in accordance with all things such as pillars and vases in the three times of past, present and future, so also the uncontaminated Dharmadhatu, that is, the transformation of the Buddha, should also be considered as always in accordance with the things of each time in the past, future and present. All dharmas covered by the three times will not go beyond Suchness, and because the Dharmadhatu is self-nature pure, there is no difference in essence between the time of becoming a Buddha and the previous state. Just as the sky pervades and pervades all shapes and colors of length, black and white, good and bad, and medium, so also the Buddha's Dharmadhatu pervades the continuums of all good, bad, and medium sentient beings, and is in accordance with its Dharma-nature. The Buddha is the Dharmadhatu, the self-nature that is thoroughly purified by the sudden defilements. When the characteristic of the all-pervading Dharmadhatu is realized on the first ground, equanimity is attained for oneself and all sentient beings, because what oneself is, sentient beings are also, and what sentient beings are, oneself is also, without difference, the equality is understood, and through the gradual completion of the ten grounds, when the Buddha's fruit is attained, it is completely understood that sentient beings and all dharmas manifest as one's own nature and perfect the nature of Bodhi, therefore it is called pervading all sentient beings.

Dispelling doubts: Since the Buddha-nature pervades all sentient beings and is without distinction, then the very nature of all sentient beings' minds, which is the Buddha-nature, should also be constantly visible, and why is the form body of the Buddha not visible? This is because the continuum of sentient beings is obscured by obscurations, showing that they are not vessels capable of seeing the Buddha. For example, even if there is a circle of the moon in the sky, but if the water container is broken and there is no water, the reflection of the moon will not appear. Similarly, the continuum of sentient beings has not accumulated the accumulation of merit and wisdom, but has the obscurations and evil deeds of creating afflictions and non-virtuous actions. Just as a broken container has no water, there is no water of faith and samadhi in the mind, so the Buddha's nature and form will not appear. The word "rūpa" refers to both nature and form. Therefore, seeing or not seeing the form body of the Buddha is not because the Buddha does not pervade everywhere, but because wherever there is a disciple who has accumulated the accumulation of seeing the Buddha, the Buddha appears there; if there is not, the Buddha does not appear. Just as fire burns where there is firewood, and goes out and does not burn where there is no firewood. Similarly, for the form bodies of the Buddhas, it should also be known that in places where there are beings to be tamed, the Buddha will manifest enlightenment and dwell in the world, and in places and times where there are no beings to be tamed, the Buddha will manifest nirvana and not appear. Sixth, how the Buddha's activities are carried out in a way that is spontaneously accomplished without conceptualization, as shown by the drums and so on. The four ways of teaching the Dharma, showing various activities, and constantly showing birth and death are shown in four verses. The Hearers strive for their own benefit, and their activities cease when they pass into nirvana, while the activities of the Buddha for the benefit of others are spontaneously accomplished without the need for effort and conceptualization, and are constant and continuous, which is the difference. For example, the great drum accomplished by the merit of the gods, when Indra is indulging in the five sensual pleasures, even if no one strikes it, it will emit a pleasant sound corresponding to the five sensual pleasures. When he is liberated from sensual pleasures, the sound of the drum will also cease and no longer make a sound.
