Samadhi makes the mind become free and at ease. That is, like the six sections mentioned in the classification of clairvoyance. Moreover, especially when one obtains the special samadhi of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, such as the Heroic Progress, one obtains the supreme power of mind. Having obtained that, by means of being endowed with that merit, all desires for me to be revered and praised by others, and to be offered and remembered, are certainly destroyed, thereby completely cutting off such thoughts, making other beings aspire to the supreme Buddha's teachings, and causing the perfections of virtue in their minds to increase perfectly, that is, by showing miracles through the power of clairvoyance, and by teaching the Dharma in accordance with the minds of others through knowing their minds, and so on. Sixth is wisdom, that is, with the power of wisdom, one determines the profound meaning of suchness without doubt, thereby being completely certain. Having truly understood all the provisional and definitive meanings, the intentional and non-intentional, one becomes skilled in suchness. Therefore, one can also completely cut off the doubts of sentient beings regarding the meaning of suchness and the intentional and non-intentional, and completely eliminate them. Having such wisdom, therefore, the Bodhisattva himself respects the Buddha's teachings, and can also establish other sentient beings in such wisdom, thereby maturing through respecting the Buddha's teachings, thus enabling the virtues of goodness in one's own and others' minds to increase. Seventh, thus Bodhisattvas, with compassion, benefit all sentient beings. They cause sentient beings to obtain the temporary happiness of the good realms, that is, gods and humans, thereby maturing them. Even those who have severed their lineage, if they encounter a Bodhisattva, can be temporarily matured in the good realms by being established in the ten virtues. The word "or" is a particle that gathers the following words. Establishing in the three virtues means establishing in the three virtues of liberation and enlightenment, which are eternal happiness. That is, establishing the three types of beings on their respective paths. Specifically explaining the way of establishing in the Great Vehicle is: causing the small aspects of the two accumulations to mature on the stage of aspiration and conduct, and causing the three supreme pure lands to mature, and the intermediate ones to mature from the first to the seventh stage.

Those who cause them to ripen. As for when they ripen? Just as far as the end of the world is, they subdue accordingly, so it is said. As vast as the realm of space is, sentient beings pervade it. The realm of space and sentient beings, until the outer end, Bodhisattvas cause sentient beings to ripen equally, subduing is without end. In the Ornament of the Great Vehicle Sutras, the explanation of the ninth chapter, the Chapter on Complete Ripening, is completed. Chapter on the Mind of Enlightenment. These nine ripenings mainly appear to be based on the power of the stage of adhimukti-caryā-bhūmi, but in general, the Bodhisattva's stages and faculties ripen to the end, and at the end of the continuum of the ten bhūmis, great enlightenment is attained, so after complete ripening, the fruit, great enlightenment, is explained. From the perspective of what is attained being ultimate, a brief exposition is given. Its nature is explained in detail. Summarizing the meaning, there are three points: to advise the generation of the mind focused on unsurpassed enlightenment. The first point is two verses, such as immeasurable austerities, and one verse explaining these meanings, for a total of three verses. That is, the immeasurable austerities of striving on the path of the six perfections, such as giving away body and possessions, the term "hundreds of thousands" is a word with many meanings, such austerities are not found in śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas. In the sutras, it is said that for the benefit of sentient beings, I gave away my eyes, and the accumulation is higher than Mount Meru, and the blood given is more than the four great oceans, and so on. Similarly, the immeasurable austerities performed through discipline and patience, etc., are as described in the sutras. Accumulating immeasurable merits through the perfections, bhūmis, and bodhipakṣas, etc., and striving for immeasurable periods of time, and for the sake of the exhaustion of immeasurable obscurations, one obtains the wisdom that is free from the stains of all obscurations, knowing all aspects of knowable things, just as when a vessel filled with various jewels is opened, various jewels actually appear, the ultimate fruit, Buddhahood, is truly shown. If we summarize its meaning, it is immeasurable austerity because one practices austerity in extremely numerous ways with hundreds of labors that others cannot do. Bhūmis and bodhipakṣas, perfections, etc.
