Because they possess the ground, they see the enjoyments of Brahma, Indra, wheel-turning kings, etc., as impure, and therefore have no subsequent attachment. Thus, they abandon them, give them to others, and become ordained. This is the eighth ground. And for the sake of accomplishing the unsurpassed Bodhi, they directly realize the non-conceptual wisdom in the three spheres, which is the ninth ground. And for the benefit of sentient beings, by the power of their aspiration, except for being born in world realms where there are no Buddhas, they are born in the mandala of the Buddha's retinue in all lifetimes. This is the tenth sign. Thus, these ten signs are considered to be the common signs of Bodhisattvas who abide on all ten grounds. Not only these ten signs, but also sixteen signs of obtaining the ten perfections appear on each ground. That is, it is not that on all grounds there is no desire to accomplish the ten perfections, but rather there is a supreme desire, which is the general explanation. Specifically, on the first ground, the perfection of generosity is completely purified, so there is no attachment to body and possessions; on the second ground, the discipline is completely purified, so one does not engage in the ten non-virtuous actions even in dreams, and there is no heart or mind of harming or resenting others; on the third ground, the perfection of patience is completely purified, so there is no anger at all; on the fourth ground, the perfection of diligence is completely purified, so there is no laziness; on the fifth ground, the perfection of meditation is completely purified, and one is especially endowed with the four immeasurables, so there is no thought that is not loving-kindness and compassion; on the sixth ground, the perfection of wisdom is completely purified, so one is not completely robbed by evil intelligence, such as the evil thoughts of clinging to purity, pleasure, permanence, self, etc., or by inverted thoughts and thoughts of clinging to reality. Thus, the combination of the six grounds and the six perfections is the six signs. In the ten grounds, since generosity and up to the perfection of wisdom are more prominent, they are specifically mentioned, but in reality, the accomplishment of the ten perfections exists on all grounds. As for how to count the six signs after this, it is not very clear in the Great Commentary, so there are some different calculation methods in other commentaries. On the seventh ground, the perfection of skillful means is completely purified, so one is not distracted by the minds of hearers and solitary realizers; on the eighth ground, the perfection of strength is completely purified.

Where is it obtained? It is not taken away by attachment to happiness, and is not harmed by sufferings. It is the spontaneously accomplished wisdom of non-conceptual equality, unwavering, manifesting as Brahma, Indra, and a universal monarch, etc. Even if bodies equal to the dust of fields are emitted in an instant, there is no conceptual thought. In the ninth ground, through the perfection of aspiration, one closely attends to Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and virtuous friends, diligently listens to all Dharma gates, and diligently makes offerings to the Buddhas, the teachers of all ten directions, with immeasurable varieties of offerings such as flowers and incense. In the seventh ground, one knows the supreme method of becoming a Buddha, and in the three times, one gathers all the merits accumulated by oneself and others into one, which is extremely vast. Universally sharing it with all other sentient beings, like a single day, one dedicates it entirely for the sake of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. By the power of aspiration, one is born in a good place. By the perfection of power, one subdues opposing forces and always does only good deeds. These three are mainly associated with the seventh and ninth grounds, and the side of the eighth ground. However, being born in a good place and always doing good are combined into one basis and considered as one. In the tenth ground, because the perfection of wisdom is completely purified, one plays with the qualities of superknowledge. A single atom can pervade countless world realms, showing it as large, and countless world realms can be gathered into a single atom, showing it as small, etc., playing with various transformations. This tenth-ground son of the Buddha, because of the vast qualities of dharani and samadhi, etc., dwells above all other Bodhisattvas, and should be known as a treasure of qualities. Thus, each ground mainly emphasizes its respective perfection, so the signs of the qualities of those perfections are also mainly cultivated in that way. However, in all ten grounds, there is also the practice of the ten perfections, so it should be known that they have a share of the sixteen aspects. Two, the qualities of the grounds with signs: In all ten noble grounds, all aspects are complete, and the wise Bodhisattvas'
