If it is refuted, how can it be regarded as a skandha if it is not obstructive, composite, and uncreated? Vimukti (Tibetan: བི་མུཀྟི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: विमुक्ति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vimukti, literal Chinese meaning: liberation) means complete liberation. This word has two meanings: abandonment and faith. Here, it refers to faith, so it is regarded as a skandha, as stated in the commentaries. Although completely liberated from all arising of formations, because there is effortless and spontaneous wisdom, it is different from the annihilation of emptiness and cessation. Therefore, from the wisdom itself that is liberated from obscurations, from the aspect of the merit of abandonment, it can be regarded as a skandha. Fifth, distinguishing the conditions of accomplishment and non-accomplishment of qualities: All the lands of faith practice and the ten bhumis, that is, the eleven bhumis, should be known to be able to be summarized into two types: unaccomplished and accomplished. Why? Because although the land of faith practice is given the name of a bhumi, it is not included in the land of the noble ones, so it is an unaccomplished bhumi, or called an unaccomplished bhumi, because the nature of the all-pervading dharmadhatu has not been realized, so the seeing of truth has not been accomplished. It should be known that the first bhumi and above are accomplished bhumis, because by seeing the truth of dharmata, one has become an accomplished transcendent noble one, and the objects of realization of each bhumi have also been manifested and accomplished. Because of accomplishment, these ten bhumis can also be regarded as unaccomplished and accomplished bhumis depending on the magnitude of the qualities. The seven impure bhumis are unaccomplished because the signless yoga is not spontaneously accomplished due to the need for effort. The three pure bhumis are called accomplished bhumis because the signless yoga is effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished. The reason for making the noble bhumis and these bhumis accomplished is: like this, for each bhumi, what are the qualities of that bhumi, what are the faults to be abandoned of that bhumi, and what are the dharmas to be practiced in that bhumi, one should contemplate them as they have been explained. This appears clearly in the mind, and one also contemplates what the qualities of the higher bhumis are, and what dharmas are obtained by them, this is called contemplating as it has been explained. For example, in order to accomplish the first bhumi, one should also contemplate the qualities of the first bhumi and the dharmas to be practiced by it, and one should also contemplate the causal dharmas that exist in that bhumi that can obtain the second bhumi, this is contemplating the distinctions.
