The heroes have the freedom to show where and how they are born, so they are considered to be born by the power of mastery. They also show the emanation body descending from Tushita to the womb, and show various kinds of births. Thus, in the Dashabhumika Sutra, when explaining the eighth bhumi, it says: "He has thus attained the wisdom of the body so well that he has attained the mastery of life in order to bless life for incalculable kalpas. In order to enter the wisdom of profound samadhi, he has attained the mastery of mind. In order to truly show the blessing of adorning all the worlds with countless jewels and being extremely pleasing, he has attained the mastery of resources. In order to ripen karma, to show the blessing in due time, he has attained the mastery of karma. In order to fully show birth in all the worlds, he has attained the mastery of birth. In order to truly show the manifestation of enlightenment at will in any Buddha-field and at any time, he has attained the mastery of aspiration. In order to truly show that all the worlds are filled with Buddhas, he has attained the mastery of faith. In order to truly show the miraculous powers and various transformations in all the Buddha-fields, he has attained the mastery of miraculous powers. In order to truly show the Tathagata's ten powers, four fearlessnesses, unshared Buddha-dharmas, excellent marks and signs, and the manifestation of enlightenment, he has attained the mastery of wisdom. In order to truly show the appearance of the boundless and endless Dharma, he has attained the mastery of Dharma." Thus, it is proclaimed that one obtains the ten masteries. Thus, for the Bodhisattvas who follow faith, there are also those who are born by the power of aspiration, but most are born by the power of karma. Those who have entered the first and second bhumis also have births by the mastery of samadhi, but most are born by the power of aspiration. Those from the third to the seventh bhumis are born by samadhi, and those in the pure bhumis, because they have obtained the ten masteries, are born by the power of mastery. Thus.

When Bodhisattvas take birth in various places of birth due to the four causes of birth, the purity of their minds varies from small, medium, to large, which is determined by the order of the grounds. Third, regarding the explanation of the grounds where Bodhisattvas reside, there are two aspects: a summary and a detailed explanation. First, the ten grounds are explained through eight meanings. What are these eight? The nature of the ground, the individual, the training, the aggregates, the accomplishment, the sign or mark, the definitive word, and the attainment. The place of dwelling and the nature of the ground are explained in this way. Just as on a vast ground, sentient and non-sentient beings, grasses, trees, and so on, grow and abide, and it is called a ground, similarly, due to the differences in the purity of the minds of Bodhisattvas—small, medium, and large—all worldly and transworldly qualities arise and occur, and therefore it is called a ground. The detailed explanation has eight aspects. First, the nature of the ground: On the first ground, in order to directly realize the absence of self in both the individual and phenomena, realizing emptiness is supreme, and that is the nature of the first ground. Having thus attained the first ground, it is said in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds that thought and higher thought are firm, and one thoroughly distinguishes with the power of mind and the power of wisdom, and realizes the equality of the three times. Realizing the absence of self in the individual, therefore thought is extremely firm. Realizing the absence of self in phenomena, therefore higher thought is extremely firm. Again, realizing the absence of self in the individual, therefore one thoroughly distinguishes with the power of mind. Possessing the wisdom of realizing the absence of self in phenomena, therefore one thoroughly distinguishes with the power of wisdom. Realizing that all things of the three times have the characteristic of being of one taste in emptiness, therefore it is called realizing the equality of the three times. Having thus attained the first ground, when attaining the second ground, seeing that the results of virtuous and non-virtuous actions, the ripening of happiness and suffering, are unfailing, therefore at all times one practices only the path of the ten virtuous actions, and does not engage in non-virtuous actions even in dreams. Therefore, the second ground is established as having the nature of unfailing actions. Thus, the one on the second ground completely turns away from actions such as killing,
