The fruit of wisdom is definitely the forbearance of spontaneously accomplished non-conceptual wisdom. In the lower paths, non-conceptual wisdom is an indisputable similar part, and obtaining it on the eighth bhumi is undoubtedly certain. Fourteenth, the distinction of what must be done: what must be done without fail, because without doing it, one cannot attain unsurpassed enlightenment, is called what must be done. What is it? Offering actual wealth and mental devotion to the Tathagatas is indispensable; this is a distinction of generosity. Maintaining pure precepts without violation is indispensable and must be done. Similarly, with compassion for sentient beings, cultivating patience with the desire to eliminate suffering; cultivating worldly and transworldly virtues with diligence; similarly, in order to attain meditative concentration, dwelling in solitary monasteries and abiding in mindfulness; in order to perfect wisdom, relying on virtuous spiritual friends and listening to the Dharma of scriptures such as sutras, never being satisfied, this is what steadfast bodhisattvas must do in all stages of the bhumis. Fifteenth, what should be done constantly and continuously: the six things that should be done in all circumstances, not just occasionally, are for the sake of perfecting the six perfections. In order to perfect the perfection of generosity, one should always know the faults of attachment to the five desirable qualities: the desires of existence are impermanent, like clouds and lightning. Attachment to them becomes a source of suffering, like poisonous food, burning pits of fire, the edge of a sword, and a snake's nest. One should always remember that they are unreliable, like illusions and dreams. Similarly, for the sake of discipline, one should contemplate the faults of one's own evil actions of body, speech, and mind, and be mindful. One should repeatedly contemplate how sentient beings, under the control of afflictions, have little autonomy and wander in the waves of the three sufferings, generate great compassion, put on armor, and for their benefit, become accustomed to voluntarily enduring various sufferings, and overcome laziness.

If even worldly affairs cannot be accomplished, what need is there to mention transcendental meaning? If diligence is undertaken, even the state of Buddhahood can be attained, what else needs to be said? Diligence is considered the indispensable root of all virtuous dharmas, so one constantly cultivates and practices the virtues of both the world and transcendence. Since virtuous dharmas cannot be attained with a distracted mind, meditation is also indispensable, but if one tastes and clings to the bliss of meditation, that too becomes a bondage. Therefore, even when meditating, one should always refrain from tasting its bliss, so that one does not degenerate from meditation. The wisdom that knows the suchness and the extent of all dharmas is the most important of the perfections, so it is indispensable. However, since none of the dharmas from form to omniscience are established as characteristics by their own nature or essence, if one clings to any dharma as a real entity or characteristic, one will not realize the meaning of the nature of reality, because it will be accompanied by the defilement that obscures the nature of knowable things. Therefore, if one does not conceptually distinguish between the characteristics of grasping and being grasped in relation to all dharmas, then the perfection of wisdom will be completely fulfilled. Thus, these six dharmas are the constant activities of bodhisattvas, steadfast without distinction in all the grounds. The sixteenth, the main activity or the supreme activity, is that among the six perfections, the bodhisattvas who possess the supreme or noble objects also become supreme and noble because of that very cause. What is it? Among the three divisions of giving, the giving of dharma is the main or supreme, because the giving of material things and protection only accomplishes worldly happiness, while the giving of dharma also accomplishes transcendental perfection. Therefore, in the Noble Vajra Cutter Sutra and others, it is said: "Compared to one who fills the universe of three thousand great thousands with the seven precious jewels and gives them away, the merit of one who teaches and explains just one four-line verse from this sutra will increase immeasurably." Just like that. Individual liberation, meditation, and undefiled discipline.
