Even if one obtains wisdom, one does not cling to the characteristics of that wisdom and dharma. Such qualities are the wonderful virtues of wise Bodhisattvas. The result of accomplishing such extraordinary perfections is as follows: The first bhumi, upon initially obtaining the non-conceptual wisdom that transcends the world, one is born into the family of the Tathagatas. The eighth bhumi, upon effortlessly and spontaneously obtaining non-conceptual wisdom, one receives the prophecy from the Buddhas. The tenth bhumi, upon receiving the empowerment as the Dharma Regent from the Buddhas, these three are the fruits of learning. Attaining the unsurpassed enlightenment at the stage of Buddhahood is also considered extraordinary because it is not found among Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, etc., in this world. Secondly, what is not so extraordinary is that, while it is indeed extraordinary compared to worldly beings and Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, when compared to Bodhisattvas who possess great intention and conduct, one might wonder why such results cannot be obtained, thus demonstrating a lack of amazement. For example, even the enjoyments of a Universal Monarch are seen as impure mud, and one is free from attachment to all conditioned phenomena, giving away both internal and external possessions without any sense of wonder. Similarly, because one possesses great compassion, wishing to eliminate the suffering of all sentient beings, one upholds the precepts of not harming the lives of others. Having cultivated the mind of cherishing others more than oneself, one is able to be patient with others. Likewise, just as fire enters wood, one effortlessly and naturally enters into the supreme meditation, thus exerting diligence. Because one has attained equanimity towards oneself, sentient beings, and all dharmas, one engages in the welfare of others without weariness, savoring the taste of meditative absorption, and associating with non-conceptual wisdom. Due to these powers, from being born into the family of the Tathagatas until attaining unsurpassed enlightenment, there is nothing extraordinary, because if one possesses these qualities, why would one not obtain such activities and results? Because this is the nature of reality. Thirdly, Equanimity is such that, just as a wise person has great love for all sentient beings, feeling pity and regret, sentient beings do not love oneself, and sometimes due to afflictions,

Killing me and eating poison, and sometimes angrily beating my wife, children, and gatherings of relatives and friends, and not abandoning love in all lifetimes, so the love of a Bodhisattva is not like that. Therefore, in order for a Bodhisattva to attain impartial love for all sentient beings, there is no such partiality as giving to one's own relatives and not giving to others. For those who come seeking things, without distinguishing between close and distant, rich and poor, giving impartially, and constantly guarding all coarse and fine precepts, whether they are prescribed or naturally sinful, without violation, and enduring all places, times, and sentient beings, and for the benefit of all sentient beings, constantly initiating great diligence without interruption, and constantly abiding in virtue and undefiled contemplation without falling away, and with wisdom distinguishing all dharmas without mixing them, but also not falling away from the non-conceptualization of the three wheels being completely pure, like this, Bodhisattvas, when practicing these six Paramitas, do not fall away and are without partiality, therefore one should know impartiality of mind in this way. Fourth, benefiting beings, benefiting beings through the six perfections, and the first of the two showing seven examples of how to benefit beings. Giving makes sentient beings vessels for practicing virtue, that is, for those who cannot practice Dharma due to lack of food, clothing, etc., giving them what they need, making them happy and content, and then leading them into the Dharma; abiding in one's own precepts and placing others in pure precepts, benefiting beings in this way; no matter how others harm, enduring it; acting for the benefit of others, going without difficulty in all circumstances; through the power of contemplation, showing miracles, etc., introducing those to be tamed into the true Dharma; with the power of wisdom, cutting off all doubts of all sentient beings and teaching the Dharma of the three vehicles, this is what the wise consider to be benefiting all sentient beings.
