Because of obtaining the spontaneously accomplished wisdom of complete non-discrimination, the Paramita practitioners practice effortlessly and spontaneously. This is considered different from the previous types of Bodhicitta. Thus it is said. Similarly, in the state of Buddhahood, it is called the Bodhicitta that has abandoned obscurations, because it abandons the two obscurations along with their imprints, therefore it is Bodhicitta, it is the ultimate result. Secondly, explaining the eleven distinctions of the root etc. of these Bodhicittas: If asked what is the root of generating Bodhicitta, it is considered compassion. Because compassion wants to eliminate the suffering of sentient beings, therefore wanting Bodhi for the benefit of sentient beings, if there is no compassion for sentient beings, like the Shravakas, they seek the Nirvana of quiescence for their own suffering. What is its thought? Until the end of Samsara, always thinking of the permanent benefit for all sentient beings. Similarly, the aspiration of Bodhicitta is the devotion to the profound and vast Dharma of the Mahayana. Similarly, what is the object of Bodhicitta? In order to obtain the non-discriminating wisdom of perfecting the two selflessnesses, completely seeking through listening, thinking, and meditating on the Mahayana Dharma, this is the object. In which stage of the Bhumi one is situated, entering from that Bhumi to the higher and higher Bhumis with the mind of aspiration, this is the vehicle or the going of Bodhicitta, because it rises from high to high through the mind of aspiration. The Bodhisattva vows that possess the three types of vows: the vow of abstaining from misdeeds, the vow of gathering virtuous Dharmas, and the vow of benefiting sentient beings, are the basis of Bodhicitta. Obstructing the Mahayana path, generating Bodhicitta in the inferior Nirvana, this is the obstacle or the unfavorable condition for the supreme Bodhicitta. Arousing the unfavorable condition in one's own mind, and accepting its continuum, this is what obstructs Bodhicitta. In some examples, this verse does not seem to exist. Commentary: The great compassion that wants to liberate all sentient beings from suffering is the accumulation of merit, and the wisdom of realizing emptiness that knows that in the ultimate truth there is nothing to be liberated from suffering is the accumulation of wisdom, like this the two accumulations.

This is the nature of generating the mind of enlightenment. "ཏེ་" is a particle indicating something remaining. The more merit and virtue increase in the realm of space, the realm of sentient beings, and the realm of the world, the more benefits there are from generating the mind of enlightenment. If you ask how the mind of enlightenment liberates from samsara, it is because it will definitely liberate from the three realms and attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Constantly practicing the six perfections is considered the reason for definite liberation. What is the ultimate of these minds of enlightenment? The ultimate of this mind of enlightenment is the ground. For example, the ten grounds, each corresponding to its own stage, and attaining the perfection of each ground, is called that ultimate. From the first ground perfecting the perfection of generosity, to the tenth ground perfecting the perfection of wisdom, the perfection of the ten perfections is called the perfection of the ten grounds. Therefore, this mind of enlightenment perfectly accomplishing the perfections is the ultimate of that ground. The ultimate of the mind of enlightenment on the path of learning is the end of the stream of the ten grounds. The ultimate of the result is the ground of Buddhahood. Thus, the generation of the mind of enlightenment of a Bodhisattva is explained with eleven classifications, and it should be known that this is completely certain, without doubt, and completely determined. Third, distinguishing from the perspective of obtaining through signs and nature. The mind of enlightenment from the stage below the supreme mundane dharma through the stage of practice with aspiration is the mind of enlightenment obtained through signs, which is to make a commitment according to the words of the vow taken with the power of one's own roots of virtue and virtuous friends. The mind of enlightenment of the first ground and above is called obtained through nature. Furthermore, the conventional mind of enlightenment is to generate the mind to attain unsurpassed enlightenment. The ultimate mind of enlightenment is to realize the meaning of the mind being free from elaboration, or to realize the truth of the nature of reality. No matter how it is said, the two have the same meaning, which is non-conceptual wisdom. After attaining the ground, one will realize the nature of the union of conventional and ultimate minds of enlightenment, which are inseparable. First, explaining the categories of how the mind of enlightenment obtained through signs or shown by others arises. A virtuous friend urges, "Generate the mind of enlightenment," and then generates the mind.
