将一切善根安立并使其圆满，如挚友之女和巨身施的故事一样。不是菩萨种姓的其他感受恶趣痛苦的众生，则会感受一切巨大的痛苦，并且在此期间会产生相互嗔恨等。如是，大乘种姓的四种殊胜功德。第八，两种比喻中的第一个，大乘种姓如同黄金的种姓或大矿藏一样，应当了知。如同一座巨大的或上好的金矿具备四种功德：是众多黄金的处所或所依，是黄金光明的处所，是黄金无垢的处所，是黄金可加工的处所一样。菩提萨埵的种姓也成为波罗蜜多、地、力、无畏等无量功德的处所。如同产生上好黄金的矿藏或来源，是产生无数金衡等的处所一样。如同从黄金矿藏中产生颜色上好、光明闪耀的黄金一样，菩提萨埵的种姓也是如实了知一切法的总相和自相的智慧光明的处所或所依。如同从大金矿中产生的黄金没有丝毫杂质和污垢，即使焚烧光泽也更加明亮一样，菩提萨埵的种姓也具备远离烦恼垢染，成为寂灭之处的功德。如同从大金矿中产生的黄金，即使捶打也不会断裂或散落，可以随意加工一样，菩提萨埵的种姓也是随心所欲地运用神通力的处所。第二，菩提萨埵的种姓应当了知如同殊胜的吠琉璃、大绿柱石、红莲宝等珍宝的种姓或矿藏，即来源一样。如同珍宝的矿藏或处所不会成为产生铁和铜等的处所，而是成为圆满产生吠琉璃、水晶和珍珠等珍宝种类的处所一样，菩提萨埵的种姓也是如此。

Establishes all virtues and makes them complete, like the story of the beloved's daughter and the giant-bodied giver. Those who are not of the Bodhisattva lineage and experience the suffering of the lower realms will experience all great suffering, and during that time, mutual hatred will arise, and so on. Thus, the four excellent qualities of the Mahayana lineage. Eighth, the first of the two examples, the Mahayana lineage is like a gold lineage or a great mine, it should be known. Just as a great or excellent gold mine possesses four qualities: it is the place or basis of many golds, it is the place of bright gold light, it is the place of stainless gold, and it is the place of workable gold. The Bodhisattva lineage also becomes the place of immeasurable virtues such as perfections, grounds, powers, and fearlessness. Just as the mine or source that produces good gold is the place where countless gold coins and so on arise. Just as gold of good color, bright and shining, arises from the gold mine, the Bodhisattva lineage is also the place or basis of the wisdom light that knows the general and specific characteristics of all dharmas without error. Just as the gold produced from the great gold mine has no impurities or stains, and even if burned, its luster becomes brighter, the Bodhisattva lineage also possesses the quality of being free from the stains of afflictions and becoming a place of peace. Just as the gold produced from the great gold mine does not break or scatter even when hammered, and can be worked at will, the Bodhisattva lineage is also the place where the powers of clairvoyance can be used at will. Second, the Bodhisattva lineage should be known as the lineage or mine, that is, the source, of precious jewels such as excellent beryl, great emerald, and ruby. Just as the mine or place of jewels does not become the place where iron and copper and so on arise, but becomes the place where the kinds of jewels such as beryl, crystal, and pearl are fully produced, so too is the Bodhisattva lineage.

也因为听闻声闻和缘觉的菩提之所依或处所，不作为金刚般的等持的后起，是生起脱离一切障碍的大菩提的原因。如同珍宝极品颜色鲜明而美丽一样，菩萨的种姓也成为具有如明镜等四种智慧的光明广大智慧之所依。如同珍宝的极品外形完美一样，菩萨的种姓也成为勇猛行和虚空藏等殊胜等持之所依。如同珍宝的产地产生无量各种珍宝一样，或者珍宝极品价值无法衡量，众多有情依靠其生活一样，菩萨的种姓是众多有情成办今生和究竟安乐之义之所依的四个原因。第二，宣说无种姓，其中“有的一类”等是一颂。所谓无种姓，也有暂时那个时候没有解脱之因的无种姓，和永远无法获得解脱的无种姓两种。第一种有四种分类，虽然不是永远断绝解脱的种姓，但是因为那个时候如同无种姓一样无法生起解脱道，所以如同对低劣者加上否定的语气，如同对坏儿子说没有儿子一样。那是什么呢？有的人具有大乘的种姓，但是因为烦恼强烈，必定造作恶行，从事无间罪等。那些人虽然有种姓，但是因为那个时候没有完全从痛苦中解脱的份，所以称为如同无种姓一样，称为无种姓。还有的人被不善知识所控制，持有业果和没有解脱的邪见，摧毁了一切白法的善根，或者断绝了善根，在没有离开那个见解之前，没有解脱的种子，所以那个时候称为无种姓。还有的人仅仅为了享受天人和人等轮回的异熟果报的安乐，而行有漏的善事，但是没有寻求解脱的想法。

Also, because hearing the basis or place of enlightenment of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, not acting as the arising after the Samadhi like Vajra, is the reason for the arising of the great enlightenment that liberates from all obstacles. Just as precious gems are bright in color and beautiful, the lineage of Bodhisattvas also becomes the abode of vast wisdom with the light of the four wisdoms such as mirrors. Just as the finest types of precious gems have perfect shapes, the lineage of Bodhisattvas also becomes the abode of the superior Samadhis such as the courageous conduct and the treasury of space. Just as various immeasurable precious gems arise from the source of precious gems, or just as precious gems are of immeasurable value and many sentient beings rely on them for their livelihood, the lineage of Bodhisattvas is the reason for the four reasons that it is the abode for many sentient beings to accomplish the meaning of this life and ultimate happiness. Secondly, explaining the absence of lineage, of which "some kinds" etc. is one verse. The so-called absence of lineage also has two types: the absence of lineage because there is no cause for liberation at that time, and the absence of lineage because liberation can never be attained. The first type has four categories. Although it is not a permanent severance of the lineage of liberation, it is similar to the absence of lineage at that time because it cannot generate the path of liberation. Therefore, just as a negative tone is added to the inferior, it is like saying that there is no son to a bad son. What is that? Some people have the lineage of the Great Vehicle, but because of strong afflictions, they are bound to engage in evil deeds and engage in actions such as the five heinous crimes. Although those people have lineage, they are called like the absence of lineage because they do not have the share of completely liberating from suffering at that time, and are called the absence of lineage. There are also people who are controlled by unfavorable spiritual friends, holding wrong views that there is no karma and no liberation, destroying all the roots of virtue of white dharmas, or severing the roots of virtue. Before they leave that view, there is no seed of liberation, so at that time they are called the absence of lineage. There are also people who only do contaminated good deeds for the sake of enjoying the happiness of the ripening results of samsara such as gods and humans, but without the thought of seeking liberation.
