Suchness indeed. Vita is knowledge, by means of the subsequent attainment of pure worldly wisdom after directly realizing non-conceptual wisdom, it indicates dharma and meaning, etc., to others, thereby understanding and knowing. The function of the four correct knowledges is to cut off all doubts about the nature of all meanings, such as the extensive aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and the profound emptiness, etc. Therefore, it is described as individual correct knowledge. Eighth, the two accumulations are: the accumulations of bodhisattvas, namely the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, are unlike those of hearers and solitary realizers, as stated in the Sutra of the Heap of Jewels: The accumulation of wisdom of bodhisattvas should be regarded as being like the sky in the ten directions. The accumulation of wisdom of hearers should be regarded as being like the extent of the sky inside a mustard seed eaten by a worm. The accumulation of merit of bodhisattvas should be regarded as being like the water of the oceans in the four directions. The accumulation of merit of hearers should be regarded as being like the water in a cow's hoofprint. As it is said. By the power of these two accumulations, when bodhisattvas take birth in samsara, "one," namely the accumulation of merit, causes excellence to appear in samsara, obtaining the complete wealth of the excellent Indra, Brahma, and universal monarch, etc. "The other," namely the accumulation of wisdom, even when abiding in samsara, enters samsara without being stained by the faults of samsara, karma, and afflictions. What are the two accumulations? The two accumulations include the six perfections, and the six perfections also include the two accumulations. Generosity, which makes enjoyment complete, and discipline, which obtains a complete body of gods and humans, these two are the accumulation of merit. Finally, the perfection of wisdom is the accumulation of wisdom, because it realizes all dharmas as emptiness and is not stained by afflictions. The other three, patience, diligence, and meditation, belong to both the accumulation of merit and wisdom. Not caring about harm, and patience in enduring suffering, these two are the accumulation of merit, and for dharma, certainly

Patience is included in the accumulation of wisdom. In terms of diligence, the diligence of helping other sentient beings in activities such as farming and trading is the accumulation of merit, while the diligence of relying on virtuous friends, listening to the sacred Dharma, and practicing meditation is included in the accumulation of wisdom. In terms of meditation, engaging in activities that benefit sentient beings through worldly meditation and undefiled meditation is the accumulation of merit, while relying on meditation to cultivate non-conceptual samadhi is included in the accumulation of wisdom. All five of generosity and the others, if completely dedicated to attaining the wisdom of omniscience, and if grasped by the wisdom that does not fixate on the three spheres, then all will transform into the accumulation of wisdom. Furthermore, confessing sins, rejoicing in merit, and requesting the turning of the wheel of Dharma are also accumulations of merit, and the three objects of merit, such as generosity, ethics, and meditation, also belong to the accumulation of merit. What causes and conditions lead to the realization of wisdom? Relying on virtuous friends, associating with them, serving them, and listening to the Dharma are all included in the accumulation of wisdom. The definition of "accumulation" is that, having attained continuous practice, one repeatedly engages in virtuous deeds. In Sanskrit, (Sanskrit Devanagari: सम्भार,Sanskrit Romanization: saṃbhāra,Literal Chinese meaning: Sam-bhara), (Sanskrit Devanagari: सम्,Sanskrit Romanization: saṃ,Literal Chinese meaning: Sam) is the sound of (Sanskrit Devanagari: सरं,Sanskrit Romanization: saraṃ,Literal Chinese meaning: Saram), meaning continuous; (Sanskrit Devanagari: भा,Sanskrit Romanization: bhā,Literal Chinese meaning: Bha) is the meaning of (Sanskrit Devanagari: भावेन,Sanskrit Romanization: bhāvena,Literal Chinese meaning: Bhavena), meaning practice; (Sanskrit Devanagari: रा,Sanskrit Romanization: rā,Literal Chinese meaning: Ra) is the meaning of (Sanskrit Devanagari: आहार,Sanskrit Romanization: āhāra,Literal Chinese meaning: Ahara), meaning to completely accomplish. Therefore, by repeatedly practicing the virtuous deeds of the six paramitas, such as generosity, one can accomplish the three bodies of the Buddha, which is called accumulation. The two stable accumulations of a Bodhisattva enable the accomplishment of all benefits for oneself and others, and that is its function. The classification of accumulations is that, from the time of an ordinary being up to the peak of worldly Dharma, accumulating the accumulations of the ground of aspiration and conduct enters the first ground, and is accumulated for the sake of attaining that first ground; the accumulations accumulated from the second to the sixth grounds are accumulated for the sake of entering the seventh ground, the ground of no signs. When the seventh ground is attained, one does not conceive of various kinds of Dharma, such as the sutras, as having different meanings.
