If distinguished by location, it is threefold through diligence in the three trainings. If distinguished by essence, it is twofold: diligence of body and diligence of mind. If distinguished by application, it is twofold: respectful diligence and constant diligence, making seven in total. Furthermore, another way of distinguishing categories is as follows: the training in higher ethics, the diligence of the body, consists of the five mental events of diligence that arise in the sphere of the five senses, and the higher mind, and the training in higher wisdom, the two that arise in the sphere of mental consciousness, are the diligence of the mind, also said to be sevenfold. Having fully understood such diligence, the wise person engages in correct practice. The essence of meditative concentration is that the mind does not wander to external objects but remains inwardly focused and one-pointed. The cause is not forgetting the object of focus, mindfulness, and relying on diligence in constant meditation. The result is the bliss of thoroughly training the body and mind, and generating bliss by being born in the higher realm of the form realm, free from the suffering of the desire realm. The function is to master the manifestation of supernormal powers and so forth, and to master the abodes of gods, Brahma, and noble beings. The abodes of the gods are the four concentrations and the four formless absorptions. The abodes of Brahma are the four immeasurables. The three doors of liberation and so forth are the abodes of noble beings. The endowment is being endowed with the qualities that are the chief of white dharmas, that is, accomplishing special qualities by relying on gaining mastery over the mind, and because it becomes the basis for liberation and the wisdom of liberation. The basis of entry is that it exists only for those who meditate on meditative concentration, and not for others, and this has three divisions. If divided by the limbs of the antidote, there are three: with both conception and analysis, without conception but with analysis, and without both conception and analysis, the meaning being as explained above. If divided by the limbs of qualities, there are three types: from the second concentration onwards, endowed with joy; the third, endowed with bliss; and the fourth and above, endowed with equanimity. Having fully understood such meditative concentration, the wise person engages in correct practice. The essence of wisdom is to completely and correctly distinguish all knowable things, both as they are and as many as they are, without reversing them. That wisdom which sees the truth,

For example, its cause is relying on samadhi, and the result is liberation from all afflictions. Worldly wisdom can temporarily suppress afflictions. The wisdom of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, which transcends the world, can abandon the latent tendencies of afflictive obscurations. The Mahayana wisdom that realizes the two selflessnesses can abandon the latent tendencies of the two obscurations. The function is that worldly wisdom of livelihood skills such as commerce and farming can only temporarily sustain life, but more excellent than that is the profound and vast Dharma life, which does not interrupt the life of the roots of virtue, and ultimately accomplishes the ultimate Great Enlightenment, the permanent state. Therefore, the life of wisdom is supreme, and by speaking well to others, one accomplishes the life of virtue. What it possesses is that it becomes the supreme vessel for all dharmas, possessing the qualities of the Perfection of Wisdom. As it is said in the Sutras: "The Perfection of Wisdom is the most supreme of the perfections, it is the chief, it is the distinguished." The basis of entry is that it is a characteristic that only those with wisdom have, and others do not, and the difference in entering wisdom is that here, in terms of the main aspect of wisdom, there is worldly wisdom, starting from the peak of Dharma and below, and the wisdom of Hearers and Solitary Realizers of the Lesser Vehicle that transcends the world, and the wisdom of the Great Vehicle that transcends the world, the wisdom of the noble Bodhisattvas, these three types. Having fully understood such wisdom, the wise will truly practice. This is what is said. Seventh, to summarize all white dharmas into the six perfections, it is shown by one verse such as "All white dharmas," all dharmas such as lands, perfections, limbs of enlightenment, collections of virtue, etc., are included in the six perfections. How are they included? All white dharmas, in general, can be summarized as how much virtue is gathered by the state of non-absorption, distraction, and how much virtue is gathered by the mind of absorption, and also absorption and non-absorption, so one should know both, such as patience and diligence, etc., divided into three parts, from the non-absorbed virtue or all white dharmas.
