It purifies the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge. That is, the non-conceptual wisdom purifies the Buddha's ten powers, four fearlessnesses, and other Buddha dharmas, thereby fully maturing the self. Another wisdom obtained from the aftermath is the accurate establishment of the characteristics and qualities of the ten bhumis, thereby fully maturing sentient beings, that is, by demonstrating enlightenment and teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. That is, by completing two countless kalpas, the path of meditation will be completed or reach its end. The end of the path of meditation is from the end of the ten bhumis. From the second to the seventh bhumi is called meditation with manifestation, which takes one countless kalpa. From the eighth to the tenth bhumi is called meditation without manifestation, which takes one countless kalpa. At the end of the path of meditation, after attaining the tenth bhumi, the bodhisattva is empowered by the Buddhas of the ten directions with great light as the successor of the Dharma king. Relying on this, he attains the vajra-like samadhi, which is indestructible by the conceptual thoughts of clinging to names. By uprooting the subtle habitual tendencies of the duality of grasper and grasped, he reaches the ultimate state of being free from the two obscurations and their habitual tendencies, the great purity free from the stains of all obscurations. When residing on the eleventh bhumi, the non-learning bhumi, for the benefit of all sentient beings, as long as space exists, he will diligently accomplish various activities, the great activity, or the great compassion that is the best of sentient beings, and the great realization that directly knows all aspects of knowledge without obstruction, thereby attaining the supreme state of possessing the three great qualities (great activity, great compassion, great realization). Fourth, the greatness of the subsequent teachings of the instructions: As stated in the chapter on instructions, the Sugata Buddha, who is extremely difficult for sentient beings with impure accumulations and mindstreams to see, can always be seen, and from him, one can hear the unparalleled Mahayana Dharma.

Because the bodhisattva's mindstream is always satisfied by the power of pureness arising from properly hearing the immaculate instructions, then, for such a bodhisattva, the instructions and subsequent teachings become very meaningful, because from this, great enlightenment will surely be obtained without effort, so there is nothing more important than this. For those who abide in such a samadhi of the Dharma gate, the Tathagatas will always directly teach the instructions. For example, just as those who are immersed in mud and water and cannot cross over by their own strength are easily led to dry land by another powerful person grabbing their hair or topknot. The blessings and instructions of the Tathagatas draw beings from the dense thicket of the faults of samsara with the power of compassion and place them in unsurpassed enlightenment. The difference between instructions and subsequent teachings is: newly revealing the special oral instructions that serve as a means to abandon what should be abandoned and obtain what should be obtained is called instructions. Moreover, the Buddha's teachings are sure to become meaningful because they are taught in accordance with the dispositions, inclinations, and thoughts of the disciples after understanding them. Subsequent teaching is: for the instructions that have already been obtained, in order to confirm them again and again, the meaning is taught again in detail. Therefore, the Buddhas always praise the bodhisattvas in a way of praise, saying, "Good, good, son of good family!" in order to praise them, because they are correctly practicing their own work or what is to be accomplished, that is, the higher training in discipline summarized by restraining from evil deeds, accumulating good deeds, and benefiting sentient beings. For those whose discipline is broken and whose behavior is reversed, the faults are pointed out and they are rebuked. For those supreme beings who delight in practicing the higher training in concentration, which abides in the immobility of the mind, and the higher training in wisdom, which is good at distinguishing all dharmas, what faults that are contrary to samadhi and wisdom will they abandon, and what qualities that are in accordance with them will they rely on, so that the teachings of the Sugata can be propagated.
