Since there is no specific attachment, it should be understood as being like the sky, therefore attachment and non-attachment are not contradictory. For example, just as a skilled painter on a cloth, through practiced craftsmanship or ritual, properly and skillfully paints various forms of images with various colors. In reality, the painting has no height or depth, and no bumps, but visually, legs, faces, and so on appear to have height, depth, and bumps. Similarly, for non-veridical conceptualizations that do not truly understand the nature of things, the grasper and the grasped, although they do not have different forms, appear to exist. Because there is a phenomenon where the state of being and the state of appearance are inconsistent, it is not contradictory that something that does not exist in reality appears to exist. It is also not contradictory that it is naturally pure, but later appears pure when it is free from impurities. For example, water is naturally pure and does not mix with soil, but when it is mixed with mud and becomes turbid, the nature of water is not mixed with soil and cannot be separated, but remains water, but also appears turbid. Later, becoming clear is the clarity that manifests the original nature of the water, not something that did not exist before, but was newly born from the turbidity. Clarity is simply the removal of the sudden impurity that has been defiled by mud from the water. Similarly, the sky is naturally pure, with clouds and without clouds, and gold is freed from the soil, although it was originally without impurities, but there are two appearances: the state with impurities and the state without impurities. Similarly, the appearance of one's own mind as pure and impure is the same principle. That is to say, the nature or reality of the mind is always considered to be naturally pure and luminous. This mind is not inseparable from its own nature, but is defiled by sudden faults, such as afflictions of inappropriate attention such as desire. Therefore, other conceptualizations or non-veridical conceptualizations other than the Dharmata luminous mind, which cannot be stained by impurities, are not luminous. The stainless Dharmata mind or luminous wisdom is the nature or essence of the mind, which is the union of clarity and emptiness.

Speak. Second, the loving-kindness and compassion of not abandoning sentient beings is: Bodhisattvas towards sentient beings are like a mother treating her only beloved child. It is not artificial, but from the bottom of their hearts. They have great love, so with such thoughts they always желать to benefit sentient beings, so they will never abandon sentient beings. In order to benefit sentient beings, even if a Bodhisattva develops attachment to the object of sentient beings, he will not fall or be at fault because that attachment is not clinging to sentient beings as one's own and abandoning them. Rather, it abides in such love and generates the mind of enlightenment. Thus, being angry with sentient beings is contrary to all sentient beings who should be taken as one's own. If anger arises, they will abandon them and begin to harm them. Therefore, the sutras say that although the fault of a Bodhisattva arising from desire has gone through many kalpas, the fault of arising a moment of anger is greater, because taking sentient beings with love is said to be attachment to sentient beings, which is not an affliction. Like a householder Bodhisattva, attachment to one's children and wives does not contradict love, so that attachment does not cause any downfall of the Bodhisattva. For example, pigeons are more greedy than other birds, so they are very loving and attached to their children. From the time the egg appears until the feathers are not fully grown, they cling closely to their children, covering them with their bodies and wings. And clinging to them, such love is contrary to being angry with one's children in any way, so anger does not arise. Similarly, a loving Bodhisattva is the same for sentient beings or other sentient beings as for his own children. Because желать happiness, he is a loving person, so it is contradictory to generate anger, the cause of harmful thoughts. Because желать the afflictions and sufferings of sentient beings to be pacified, it is contradictory to do harmful things that cause suffering. Because желать to do the things of sentient beings with one's own body and enjoyment, it is contradictory to do the hypocritical mind of желать to deceive sentient beings. Because Bodhisattvas are sentient beings
