Moreover, because it is mundane, it is not true in relation to the wisdom that transcends the world, therefore these two are of a nature that is completely severed. Like this, through the samadhi of emptiness, which is practiced with faith and aspiration, and the samadhi of no aspiration and no sign, after completely knowing the two aspects of selflessness of beings and phenomena. The samadhi of emptiness understands that beings and phenomena are merely imputed through names, signs, symbols, and terms, and knows that the nature of the completely imputed is emptiness. The self of beings, whether it is the nature of the object of grasping or the nature of the subject of grasping, does not exist. The self of phenomena such as form and sound, whether it is the nature of the object of grasping or the nature of the subject of grasping, does not exist, therefore these two selves, like the horns of a rabbit, have never existed in reality, thus completely knowing. The basis of appearance as the grasper and the grasped, the mind and mental factors of other-powered, the untrue imputation, exists in name, because all the afflictions and various sufferings of samsara that arise from it are undeniably and irrefutably established, so no one should say that it does not exist, because if it does not exist, then the establishment of defilement and purification is also impossible, however, no one disputes the existence of samsara and nirvana. Like this, although the other-powered exists, because it is an untrue discrimination, a place of suffering, and is tainted by afflictions such as attachment, it is known that it is not a place of hope and aspiration, the samadhi of no aspiration knows its nature as it is. The perfectly established nature is the nature of emptiness of the two selves and the grasper and the grasped, therefore it is the nature of all phenomena, like the heat of fire and the moisture of water, which is originally existent. If it does not exist, then the two selves and the grasper and the grasped would exist. Like this, although the perfectly established nature of phenomena exists, it has no sign of any elaboration of the grasper and the grasped, therefore the conceptual thoughts of speech and thought are pacified, this is understood through the samadhi of no sign, therefore like this, completely knowing the meaning of existence and non-existence, or completely knowing the imputed and the other-powered, the conventional truth, and the perfectly established ultimate truth, after knowing the meaning of non-existence and existence like this. Second, what is the knowledge of phenomena? Like this, the sutras and so on

Understanding the meaning of the teachings is: All the expressible dharmas in the form of collections of names, words, and letters, such as the Sutras, are like a boat that is indispensable for crossing a river, but once the river has been crossed and the purpose of the boat has been fulfilled, one does not need to rely solely on the boat. Similarly, for the purpose of understanding and knowing the meaning to be expressed, the dharmas in the form of names, words, and letters that are used as symbols should also be recognized as being like that boat. It is necessary to abandon the idea that merely hearing the words is sufficient, and to focus primarily on cultivating wisdom that arises from thinking about the meaning of the words. This is called understanding the Dharma. Third, practicing in accordance with the Dharma is: In the stage of faith and practice, through listening to the Dharma during one's individual ordinary being stage and relying on the wisdom of thought, one understands the meaning and the Dharma. As previously explained, both right and wrong should be abandoned. Similarly, one should understand the two selflessnesses as images or general concepts. In order to transform that knowledge into the characteristic of wisdom that is completely perfect and pure and transcends the world, one should meditate progressively from the heat stage to the highest Dharma. This is the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma, and it is excellent practice. Fourth, entering in accordance is: Then, that Bodhisattva, in the first ground, namely the Joyful Ground, attains the nature of the Bodhisattva's Path of Seeing, becomes equal to all, and attains the unsurpassed non-conceptual wisdom that transcends the world, surpassing the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. This is the realization of the meaning of the nature of reality. The Bodhisattva enters flawlessly, entering in accordance with all. This is called practice. Fifth, acting in accordance with the Dharma is: This refers to the practice of the Path of Meditation. Previously, by attaining the Path of Seeing, all the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing have been completely exhausted. In order to abandon the obscurations of knowledge, one should diligently practice from the second ground to the tenth ground. What kind of wisdom is it that eliminates the obscurations? The subsequent wisdom, which is pure worldly wisdom, knows all phenomena, and the wisdom of non-conceptual equipoise knows the nature of reality as it is, like the sky. These two operate alternately, one following the other.
