To counteract the Brahmins' discrimination of castes, thinking that Brahmins and kings, etc., of high castes should not use what is used by outcastes, etc., and that the Buddha's Dharma can be practiced even by low-caste outcastes, so they despise it thinking it is easy to obtain. If one does not have the accumulation of merit like venerating Buddhas as many as the sands of the Ganges River, it will be difficult to realize the Great Vehicle Dharma, thus showing the difficulty of accumulating merit to eliminate the contempt of thinking the Dharma is easy to obtain. For lazy people, even if they cannot generate even a little bit of virtue, if they make aspirations to be born in Sukhavati, they will be born there. Similarly, just by holding the name of the Tathagata Immaculate Moon, one will attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Like this, and as it is said that just by reciting a dharani, one can purify the karma of the five heinous crimes, etc., for lazy people, by making such aspirations, holding names, and reciting dharanis, the cause of accumulating virtuous roots, one day, as it is said, one will definitely be born in Sukhavati and attain Buddhahood, etc. And just by relying on these causes, one will also become more and more diligent, thereby overcoming laziness. To counteract being content with just a little bit of virtue, for example, for those who are content with just giving, praising morality and belittling giving by explaining that giving is inferior to morality. And like praising the uncontaminated virtue that surpasses the contaminated worldly virtue. For some sentient beings, due to being full of their own body and possessions, they are arrogant, to counteract this, hearing the praise of the vast body and possessions of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, even if the worldly body and possessions are good, they will feel that they are nothing great. To counteract attachment to the inferior five desires of the world, praising that the immeasurable blissful enjoyments of the Buddha's pure lands are like this and that, thereby seeing the five desires of samsara, which are of the nature of contaminated suffering, like vomit, thereby generating revulsion. For some sentient beings who do not understand karma,
