Therefore, one should realize it individually through one's own wisdom. If those who have attained worldly meditative absorption cannot conceive of the realm of those who have attained meditative absorption, then what need is there to mention that the realm of transcendent wisdom is not an object of thought for worldly hearing and so on? If someone asks, "Then what is the meaning of the profound sutras saying that the meaning understood by the Buddha is to be realized individually by oneself?" The answer is: The Blessed One, the Buddha, who is the embodiment of compassion for sentient beings, is like a great serpent. This is an example. The great serpent called Ajagara (藏文,梵文天城体:अजगर,梵文罗马拟音:ajagara,汉语字面意思:Great Python), whose back has an area where fields can be plowed and even rivers can flow, the water that comes out of its mouth flows far away like a great river. The wild animals think it is a river and drink it, but they die from the poison in the saliva. Those dead animals are then drawn into the serpent's mouth by the breath it inhales. Therefore, the Buddha is like a great serpent, possessing four kinds of wisdom, which is very reasonable and appropriate. That is, which scripture can explain all meanings without inversion, and can draw others in like the breath of a serpent? It is the twelve branches of the Dharma scriptures. They can completely lead beings to be tamed, like a herd of wild animals, to the Dharma of the correct path of the Buddha himself, and ultimately lead them to the Dharma body of Nirvana, which is the pacification of all suffering, like the door of the Buddha's face. It is pure and noble, free from the two obscurations, possessing vast qualities such as power, it is supreme bliss, common to all Buddhas, it is the great self, the supreme self, the eternal and imperishable other shore of permanence, bliss, self, and purity. Therefore, the ultimate goal of realizing individually through one's own wisdom is the Dharma body of the Buddha. Although there is no sentient being who can directly indicate and truly realize and attain Buddhahood through words, the profound cause for attaining the ultimate Dharma body, and the Dharma of the Holy Teachings that unerringly indicate the path of means, through hearing, thinking, and meditating on it as it is, one will undoubtedly obtain the self-realized wisdom of the noble ones. Through this wisdom, one can individually

Therefore, if one can comprehend the nature of the object to be understood without error, one will ultimately realize the Dharmakaya of the Buddha's wisdom. Therefore, the object that each individual needs to understand cannot be directly expressed in words, but is revealed through the lineage based on the Dharma of scriptures. Therefore, the meditation of a yogi who possesses tranquility and insight is not meaningless. Because by relying on meditation, one can generate the wisdom of self-cognition. Since meditation is meaningful, the teachings of the Buddhas, such as the sutras, are also not meaningless in order to make meditation non-perverted. Because the practice of "self" by non-Buddhists, which is contrary to the path of meditating on suchness, is not the path to liberation. Rather, the Dharma that truly explains the suchness of things, such as meditating on non-self, is heard and its meaning is contemplated, and one meditates as if gaining certainty, and from this, the self-cognition of seeing suchness arises. If it is not like this, if one can directly see the meaning by merely hearing about non-self, then one should be liberated immediately, and meditating on its meaning becomes meaningless. If one has not heard the Dharma that explains non-self, etc., and people can still enter into meditating on its meaning, then explaining the scriptures becomes meaningless, because there is no need to explain them, but such a situation is impossible. In order to obtain the self-cognition of the wisdom of the noble ones who realize the nature of reality as it is, one must first listen to the Dharma, then gain certainty by contemplating its meaning, and then one must meditate on its meaning with one-pointedness. Therefore, one must first generate the wisdom of hearing, so listening to and explaining the Dharma is so important and necessary. The above is a discussion of how to teach the Dharma. It is divided into two ways: how Bodhisattvas teach the Dharma and how Buddhas teach the Dharma. First, the way Bodhisattvas teach the Dharma is divided into three
