Having become so, therefore, the Bhagavan, with compassion, turned your mind away from the side of tranquility, you will not have nirvana, but will remain in the world as long as it lasts. Third, the completion of the final deeds includes: how to begin writing, and the dedication of the merit of writing in this way, both. The first part includes: the actual way of writing, and the necessity of writing in this way, both. The first part includes: the way of writing based on what, and the demonstration that this treatise written in this way is unique, both. First, the venerable Chandrakirti Bhikshu, from the explanations of the unerring view of the venerable Nagarjuna, collected from the Madhyamaka Root Wisdom Treatise and others, and truthfully stated the definitive meaning of the Sutra teachings and the oral instructions of Nagarjuna as they are. Second, just as other Madhyamaka treatises do not truthfully explain the Dharma of emptiness, in this Entering Treatise, the view that phenomena do not admit self-characteristics in conventional truth, is not found in other Madhyamaka treatises, and wise people should be certain of this. Second, the necessity includes: the actual necessity, and the exhortation to hold only the treatise that possesses this necessity, both. First, the great ocean of wisdom of the noble Nagarjuna is extremely vast, both vast and profound in meaning, like a dark black color, frightening with words such as arising and emptiness, therefore, the children of the Mind-Only school in the past lives abandoned such a good method from afar, like running away, therefore, the words of the Madhyamaka treatises, such as the chaptered Root Wisdom Treatise and other budding lotuses, are now opened by me, Chandrakirti, with this treatise, to fulfill the hopes in the mind in a delightful way. Therefore, in the treatises of Nagarjuna, because of being afraid to speak the meaning of the words arising and emptiness, for example, seeing a vast ocean, children are afraid and run away far away, Vasubandhu, Dignāga, Dharmakīrti and others abandoned the method of Nagarjuna from afar, but, just as the white moon makes the ocean white and the lotuses and others open, it is delightful.

As it is. Here, too, the author Chandrakirti states: May the lineage of Nagarjuna, like a blooming blue lotus, possess the delightful water of a lake that fulfills the wishes of beings. This means that those who previously abandoned the wisdom-sea of Nagarjuna and could not drink from it, now possess the fortune to enjoy it as they please. Redawa said: Like a blue lotus, the profound meaning is budding, and through commentary, it blossoms, producing eloquent speech like honey-water. This means that the verses born from the wisdom-sea of Nagarjuna, such as the Root Wisdom Treatise, resemble budding blue lotuses. Now, Chandrakirti's wisdom, like sunlight, opens them, and the eight-fold qualities of the two truths within satisfy the wishes of fortunate disciples. Secondly, the meaning of suchness, the profoundness already mentioned, is frightening to those of small intellect. This arises from the habitual imprints of previous familiarity with emptiness, and beings will surely realize it. However, even with extensive listening to the scriptures, others may not comprehend this emptiness. Therefore, seeing these self-conceived theories that do not conform to the true nature and do not enter the Buddha's intention, like treatises that assert the self of a person, one should abandon the doctrines of other teachers and relinquish other preferences besides Nagarjuna's view. Secondly, the dedication of merit. May the merit from the excellent lineage of Master Nagarjuna, clearly explained by reason and scripture, spread to the ends of the directions, and may the sky of my mind, once stained by afflictions, become as white as autumn stars, or like a wish-fulfilling jewel on the head of a serpent entwined with the venom of afflictions. May all beings in the boundless world, through this merit, realize the profound suchness of reality, swiftly attain bliss, and progress to the state of Buddhahood. Redawa said: What kind of merit is it? It is the dedication that pervades all directions, and the mind is stained by afflictions, as white as the stars, like a wish-fulfilling jewel on the head of a mind-serpent entwined with the poison of afflictions and thoughts. So it is. Fourthly, the meaning of the conclusion includes two aspects: who composed the text and how the translator translated it. Firstly, Entering the Middle Way
