Commentary on the Entrance to the Middle Way, "The Immaculate Crystal Rosary of the Moon's Utterance." Commentary on the Entrance to the Middle Way, "The Immaculate Crystal Rosary of the Moon's Utterance." Bimalārkamālacandrasyamukhāgarmarmadhyāmakābatārasyaṭīkanāmabihāratisma (Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning in Chinese). The Commentary on the Entrance to the Middle Way, called "The Immaculate Crystal Rosary of the Moon's Utterance," resides herein. Om Svasti! In the sky of the unborn Dharma realm, the cloudless suchness. The sun of wisdom's gaze, with endless qualities and a thousand lights. Mother of all noble ones, non-dual, profound wisdom of the Middle Way. Well entered, the supreme vehicle, may the lotus of Dharma fully bloom with auspicious goodness. Victorious, unequaled Shakya King, Regent, son of the victorious, and of the victorious, Chief of disciples and holder of the victorious lineage, Completely victorious in all directions. May all be victorious! The essence of the thought of the noble Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti, Having seen the meaning as it is and taught according to the Dharma, The supreme architect of the profound aimlessness, May Vajra, pleasing to Manjushri, be victorious! Here, from the reasoning of the four realizations, The first is that all phenomena are of a single nature, The teacher who clarifies the path of correct reasoning, The commentary on the treatise is thus composed. Thus, Here, in order to clarify the ultimate intention of the second Buddha, the glorious protector, the noble Nagarjuna, this is the explanation of the king of all treatises, the Entrance to the Middle Way. There are four parts: the meaning of the title, the homage of translation, the meaning of the text, and the meaning of the conclusion. First: In Sanskrit: Madhyamakāvatāranāma (Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, The Name Entrance to the Middle Way). Second: In Tibetan: Called "Entrance to the Middle Way," here, the Middle Way, in terms of the object to be expressed, the Middle Way of meaning, the Dharmadhatu free from all elaborations, and the Middle Way of words that express those objects to be expressed, of the two treatises, the latter. Of these, the Buddha's words and the treatises, of the latter, the Middle Way treatise is entered from the perspective of being deeper and more extensive than the Root Wisdom, or from the perspective of the definitive meaning of the scriptures and Nagarjuna's instructions. That is, in terms of the profound way of entering, for the meaning of the Root Wisdom, which is the basis for the distinction between self-sufficiency and others, this treatise brings to the forefront the non-nominal ultimate truth, the view that is free from all assertions, and explains it according to the uncommon Prasangika view. In terms of the extensive, it is the Dharma of the individual ordinary person's ground.

Third, the ten bhumis of the noble learners, together with the ultimate state of non-learning, are explained. Second: I prostrate to the one who is gentle because he is free from the coarse touch of faults, who is endowed with the glory of possessing both benefits, who, although he has become the father of the Buddhas, is still a youthful prince. This is the salutation made by the translators before the translation, because it is a distinction of the Dharma of the ultimate truth, so the translator's salutation also conforms to the decree. The third aspect includes: the limb of entering into the composition of the treatise - praising and offering, the actual body of the treatise to be composed, and the activity of completing the composition. The first aspect includes: a general explanation of the three causes of Bodhisattvas, and two aspects of praising compassion in particular from that. The first aspect is: listening to instructions from a true spiritual friend and hearing or proclaiming to others, the part of merit and wisdom is superior to the Shravakas and the realization is quick, and the middle Pratyekabuddhas who are inferior to the Buddhas are born from the words of the Sage, and the Buddhas are born from the distinction of the stage of the Bodhisattva who learns the path, and from the correct holding, the mind of compassion that wants to save all sentient beings from suffering, and the wisdom that does not exist in the two extremes of existence and non-existence, that is, wisdom, and the mind of enlightenment, these three are the cause of the sons of the Buddhas. That is also as stated in the Ratnavali: If oneself and this world want to attain unsurpassed enlightenment, then its root is the mind of enlightenment, as stable as the king of mountains, and compassion that reaches all directions, and wisdom that does not rely on the two. This is the way it is said. The second aspect includes: praising great compassion without distinguishing it separately, and prostrating after distinguishing it separately. First: Because loving great compassion itself is the first important seed of this excellent crop of the Buddhas, the middle is important like water to nourish and spread, it does not diminish with infinite sentient beings and bad behavior and ingratitude, etc., and the final important thing is for a long time, like ripening in a place of enjoyment, it is hoped to become like that, therefore I, Chandrakirti, first praise compassion. So it is said. The second aspect includes: praising compassion that focuses on sentient beings.
