If it is the most ultimate tenet, then how does one realize equality by realizing emptiness of truth? Can one manifest the fruit of a Hearer by realizing the equality of the nature of the two truths in union? If some Madhyamikas become Hearers, some become Solitary Buddhas, and some become Buddhas, then the Perfection of Wisdom becomes the uncommon mother of Buddhas. Since realizing that very reality does not necessarily lead to Buddhahood, it must be asserted that compassion and accumulating merit are the uncommon causes of Buddhahood. The seventh of the ten grounds, established from the perspective of ultimate bodhicitta, becomes common to Hearers and Solitary Realizers. If that is the case, then the statement that the ten grounds are solely the path of noble Bodhisattvas is contradictory. If one says there is contradiction, then even if one realizes equality through realization, there is the possibility of not attaining Buddhahood. If one accepts this, it contradicts the teachings of the White Lotus Sutra and others. If the Perfection of Wisdom that realizes the equality of samsara and nirvana is the uncommon cause of the nirvana of Buddhahood that does not abide in the extremes of samsara and nirvana, then do Hearers and Solitary Realizers have it or not? If they do, then one must explain how it differs from the realization of noble Bodhisattvas. Does a Bodhisattva on the first ground realize the equality of samsara and nirvana from the perspective of that very reality? If not, how are the sixteen emptinesses perfected? Until one realizes that conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, samsara and nirvana, are without inherent existence, one will not realize the sixteen emptinesses. This is important. Even if one realizes the equality of samsara and nirvana, isn't it a failure to realize equality if one clings only to the extreme of peace? If that is the case, then all the reasons for establishing the One Vehicle of Buddhahood through the realization of equality are negated. Similarly, if one realizes the luminous innate mind that is empty of all characteristics and the unchanging bliss, one will fall into the extremes of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. The equality of the Dharmadhatu of union is such that, by its very nature, it does not abandon samsara and is a worker who does not abide in the extreme of peace. Therefore, it is inseparable from great compassion without objectification. If one realizes it, how could one fall into the extreme of peace? If one could, then noble Mahayanists and the manifestation of the clear light of mantra could also fall into the extreme of peace. If realizing emptiness of truth prevents the extreme of existence, then why doesn't realizing union prevent the extreme of peace? If realizing that samsara is without inherent existence prevents one from falling into samsara, then nirvana is

Since realizing the absence of inherent existence, how could one fall into a one-sidedly peaceful nirvana? If one falls, one cannot avoid falling into the extreme of existence. Even if one realizes that existence and peace are without inherent existence, it is possible to fall into samsara just as one falls into the extreme of peace. Since realizing the absence of inherent existence does not prevent the extremes of existence and peace, if compassion alone prevents the extreme of peace, then if one fears samsara and lacks renunciation, even if one realizes emptiness, it is possible to fall into samsara. If they do not fixate on the characteristics of existence and peace, compassion will not arise. Since one must fixate on the characteristics of samsara in order for compassion to arise, then realizing emptiness should not give rise to compassion. However, if one realizes emptiness, the mind naturally delights in benefiting others, this is the nature of reality. Because the noble bodhisattvas realize the truth of the nature of reality, they do not cling to their own body and possessions, but solely engage in benefiting others, etc., perfecting the six perfections. This arises from the power of realizing the suchness of the first bhumi, etc. Even if one realizes it oneself, compassion will arise naturally, this arises effortlessly from the power of realizing the union of the two truths, how could one abandon benefiting others? Therefore, the Teacher again divided this into many parts and taught it to the beings to be tamed. How did he teach it? In the Perfection of Wisdom, he extensively explained the sixteen emptinesses in detail, and then briefly summarized them, and again taught the four. These are also accepted in the Great Vehicle, because the absence of self of phenomena is perfected. Secondly, there are the sixteen divisions of the extensive explanation and the four divisions of the condensed summary. Firstly, there are the four teachings of the emptiness of the interior, etc., and the four of the emptiness of the great, etc., and the four of the emptiness of transcendence of extremes, etc., and the four teachings of the emptiness of all dharmas, etc. Firstly, the emptiness of the interior, the emptiness of the exterior, the emptiness of the interior and exterior, the emptiness of emptiness, etc. From the four, the first, because the inherent nature of the eye, etc., is not established, therefore the eye is empty of the eye. Similarly, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind should also be explained in the same way. Because inherent nature is not established, these six sense bases, such as the eye, etc., are not permanent dharmas that truly exist in ultimate reality, nor are they impermanent dharmas that exist for a short time and then immediately cease.
