When asked if one desires, he said he desires neither, and if so, does one not obtain anything, nor have realization? When it is said like that, those two exist, but not in the way of two. Attainment and realization are worldly terms, including the four fruits such as Stream-enterer and the self-born Bodhisattva are also worldly terms, but in ultimate truth, they do not exist, like that. Second, there are three: giving examples, arguing the meaning, and concluding in a way that no matter how one speaks, one cannot refute the view of no self-nature. First, there are two: in general, giving the example of an image; and explaining in detail the example that although the image is not real, one can rely on it to clear the dirt from the face. First, for example, the differences such as the eclipse of the sun's center by Rahu that you see, in the image that appears in water or a mirror, one can also see the phenomena such as being eclipsed by Rahu. Do the sun and the image arise from meeting or not meeting? Although one should not make such distinctions, relying on the sun etc., by the establishment of conventional truth, an image will arise. Second, even though the image is not real, in order to make one's own face beautiful, the image has such power, just like the face of wisdom, it can clear the dirt of evil thoughts, this is a reason that can be seen. Even if meeting or not meeting etc. are unreasonable, one should understand that this can also make one realize the selflessness that one wants to prove. Second, arguing the meaning. If what one wants to prove is real as the prover or the reason for making one understand, and the essence of what one wants to prove also truly exists, then the reasoning of meeting etc. would be close to the Madhyamikas. But that does not exist, so your accusation is just in vain. This is like the vision of a person with cataracts does not harm a person without cataracts. Therefore, one should also understand that this also negates the examples of eyes and magnets etc. Third, concluding. Using examples such as illusion, dream, etc. that even outsiders themselves acknowledge to illustrate all phenomena.

It is very easy for all Madhyamikas to introduce the understanding of things as being without inherent existence, but it is not easy for other Madhyamikas to easily understand the existence of inherent nature. With the web of bad speculation threads, worldly people, like silkworms of affliction, on their own cocoons formed by conceptualization, should they increase or establish or entrust here, it should not be done. Second, the remainder is the remainder of reasoning that refutes the two selves, that is, the reasoning that refutes arguments, the emptiness of things, etc., which have been shown above, should also be known, and should also be used here for the sake of arguing with those who encounter them. No matter how thoroughly the opponent refutes, how ordinary people are bound by conceptualization, etc., has been said before, and the remainder should be understood through this aspect. Second, the classification of emptiness established by reasoning has two types: brief indication and extensive explanation. First, this selflessness of phenomena without inherent existence, in order to liberate beings, is said to be of two types of selflessness, with the classification of the basis, phenomena, and the person. Regarding this, the "Self-Commentary" says: The selflessness of the person is taught for the benefit of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and both the selflessness of phenomena are taught for the sake of Bodhisattvas attaining the wisdom of omniscience. Hearers and Solitary Realizers only see dependent origination and conditions, but even so, they do not have the complete practice of the selflessness of phenomena, but only a method of abandoning the afflictions that are practiced in the three realms, that is, the complete practice of the selflessness of the person. As the Omniscient Longchen Rabjampa also thinks, adding a negative negation to Hearers and Solitary Realizers shows that they do not completely realize the selflessness of phenomena, and without realizing that the self of inherent existence is established, they do not abandon the afflictions of samsara, because they do not abandon the innate ego-grasping. From the point of view that it is no different from the selflessness of phenomena, there is seeing the selflessness of phenomena, just as drinking a mouthful of the ocean cannot be said to be not drinking the ocean. It is shown in this way. Therefore, merely seeing the meaning of the self without inherent existence can abandon afflictions, then what
