Therefore, even after eons of time, recognize that the result will surely arise. That is, the Alaya-consciousness of the Mind-Only school and the stream of consciousness of the Sutra school, as well as the attainment and non-wastage of the Vaibhashika school, etc., even without any conceptualization, the cause and effect of actions are established. For the view that cause and effect are established by their own nature, if the action has ceased, it will not produce a result. Therefore, if there is no continuous intermediate state to store its imprints or produce the result, it will not ripen. Here, both cause and effect are not established by their own nature, but merely arise in dependence. There is no need to consider whether there is interruption or non-interruption, meeting or non-meeting, like exorcism, etc. It is merely that the result arises in dependence on the cause. If one were to examine whether cause and effect meet or not, then none of the cause and effect relationships, such as the sprout from the ground, would be valid. Just as there is no celebration when a barren woman gives birth, cessation is that which precedes arising. Thus, since action does not arise by its own nature, there is also no cessation that is established by its own nature. If cessation is not established by its own nature, then what harm does cessation do? It does not harm. Moreover, if scriptures such as the arising due to the conditions of aging and death, and the destruction that does not arise as long as it does not cease, become the cause of the result, then one does not understand arising. Things and non-things are conditioned phenomena. If it is said that destruction is a scripture of things, then it is immediately contradictory. Nirvana is unconditioned. It is unreasonable to say so, because Nirvana is the cessation or destruction that is examined, the exhaustion of the obscurations of affliction, and the result of the path of learning. Also, because sorrow arises from the death of a son, or sorrow arises because a barren woman has no son, even if there is complete non-existence, there are things. If a barren woman having no son is a thing and a son is a non-thing, then it would be reversed, and emptiness, cause and effect would appear as things, and it would become a negation of what is not this, because your school considers destruction to be a negation of what is not this. If you admit this, then admitting emptiness as non-affirming negation is wrong. That which is not destroyed, or the non-destruction of a broken pot, is the present entity of the Realist school, and that must be a thing. If that is the case, then destruction is not a thing, because the non-existence of destruction is a thing. Therefore, destruction itself cannot be a thing, just as the non-existence of a pot is a non-thing. The non-existence of non-existence is a non-thing, because it is the opposite of the former. Understanding the true meaning of the two negations is

As for the name of a real entity, as for the name of a negation of a non-entity, it is refuted by two negations, and is not like the three realities. Therefore, if both destruction and non-destruction are real entities, then are the two negations not contradictory? Are existence and non-existence not mutually exclusive? Because the distinction of sounds is not understood, relying on the expression of sounds leads to confusion between real entities and non-entities. The time when a cause becomes a non-entity will never occur, because both destruction and non-destruction are real entities. It pervades, because there is no other cause besides destruction and non-destruction. If both cessation and non-cessation are real entities, then the two are not mutually exclusive, because the two are cause and effect and are real entities. If contradictory non-entities are not mutually exclusive, then permanence and impermanence will not contradict each other either, because the expressions of destruction and non-destruction, and permanence and impermanence, past and future, are only different in words, but the meaning is the same. All real entities will become completely permanent, because the basis of mutually exclusive non-entities does not exist. Also, some say that because darkness arises from the extinguishing of a lamp, destruction is a real entity, and this is used as proof. According to their view, it must be admitted that the lamp is the continuous cause of darkness, because without a lamp there is no extinguishing of the lamp, and without the extinguishing of the lamp, darkness will not arise. In the intermediate realms, as the subject of the proposition, there cannot be darkness, because there is no extinguishing of the lamp. If it is thought that the absence of a lamp and the extinguishing of a lamp have the same meaning there, then it is possible for a widow's son to die, because it is possible for a widow to have no son. If it is possible to walk on foot after a horse dies, then a beggar without a horse should not walk on foot, because there is no death of a horse. Haha. Therefore, the object of focus that is merely thinking "the basis of imprints is me" is itself, because it is a continuum established in dependence on consciousness, so the continuum of mind is also that. Therefore, even if it is thought to exist, it does not arise by nature, as the teacher said: From a seed destroyed and not destroyed, a fruit does not arise, all your arising, appears like an illusion. So it is said. Second, I will explain following the sutra and teachings of the Sutra of the Transference of Existence. For example, in a dream, after seeing beautiful women as objects of focus, when awake, although the object has disappeared, some fools develop attachment by focusing on that object. Similarly, even from actions that have now ceased and are not self-existent, fruits will follow.
