If, like the earth not being empty, pots and so on are not empty from their own side, then even if one does not accept that pots and so on are truly established, by the power of accepting that they are not empty from their own side, they will become truly established. It is necessary to accept that ultimate analysis can withstand analysis and also be an object of focus. As Chandrakirti said, "If the fault of conventional truth being able to withstand analysis by reasoning is thrown out, it will fall into this system." If pots and so on are truly established as their own essence, then how can they be empty of other true establishments? Empty of the true establishment of what? Therefore, saying that this is the emptiness of what is said is irrelevant. Just as eliminating a snake on a rope, the rope itself is broken down into the form of threads, and there is nothing to observe other than the rope itself being merely imputed, and it is the same between wool and dust particles, so the consciousness that grasps the rope and its object, the rope, are both not mistaken in convention. When establishing emptiness, one must add the distinction of the rope being truly established, but when establishing that there is no snake on the rope, one does not need to add the distinction of the snake being truly established. In the same way, if one blocks a pot without adding the distinction of true establishment, these people think that one is blocking convention. In general, we also accept that blocking true establishment, and similarly, self-establishment, establishment by nature, and one's own nature not being empty are what should be blocked. However, if the essence of those phenomena that exist in convention is not established as an observable object, then there is no way to establish their negation. If they are established, then the non-establishment of truth, etc., will also be established. Therefore, when the ultimate analysis breaks down the rope and threads, etc., into pieces, the coarse rope, etc., must be established in convention as not being established by themselves, but merely imputed. If that is not established, then true establishment will not be refuted. If it is established, then true establishment and self-establishment, etc., will also be refuted. Therefore, there is no meaning in saying that pots and so on are not empty of their own essence. If that blocks convention, it will become nihilistic emptiness. Therefore, if one thinks that one must accept that true establishment is blocked, but conventional pots and so on are not blocked, it is because the blocking is not observed by ultimate analysis. If one thinks that conventional phenomena are blocked in the face of conventional observers, then because whatever is not found or unobservable in the face of ultimate analysis must not exist in convention, then there is not a single phenomenon that ultimate analysis can withstand analysis and find.

is also impossible. There are conventional phenomena that are not unreal. Since it is established in both self and other and cannot be examined, if you think that whatever cannot be examined by actual examination must not exist in convention, then this is your cognitive error of holding the two truths to be contradictory. If whatever cannot be found by actual examination must not exist in convention, then actual examination must be able to examine something, but this is impossible. Since the power of reasoning with the force of actual examination cannot establish or cognize things like a pot and birth, what is the use of adding the distinction of true establishment in words to prevent convention? It is not that actual examination prevents the nature of true establishment but does not prevent the nature of conventional phenomena. Because when examining conventional phenomena such as pots, their own nature cannot be cognized. These pots, etc., are merely established in convention as being dependent on the collection of their own parts. The object of examination, pots, etc., are merely distinguished by true establishment, and how can one say that they are not pots, etc., that appear without harming cognition? Because pots, etc., that are distinguished by true establishment cannot appear as objects of the eye, etc., that do not harm cognition. This is not to divide into parts to refute, nor is it to prove that it is not born by the reasoning of the four extremes of arising and ceasing. But the pots, etc., that exist in convention are divided into parts and things with parts, thus proving no self-nature, and the sprouts, etc., that arise in convention are proved to be unborn. Therefore, these reasonings prove that these conventional phenomena have no self-nature and are unborn, and thus it can be said that these phenomena have no self-nature and no true establishment, and that arising and ceasing, etc., have no true establishment. At the time of actual examination, the existence or non-existence of pots, etc., and whether they arise or not, are not examined by these reasons. There is no need to add true nature and true birth. Because from the beginning, it is enough to examine the conventional nature and birth, etc., without adding the distinction of true establishment. Whether nature and birth exist or not is the object of examination of actual examination, or the emptiness to be proved. These are all conventional phenomena such as pots, etc., and not distinguished by true establishment, so these
