Such expressions have appeared in the great treatises of India and Tibet, so the way these terms are used can never be prevented. However, if it is held that these words have something in meaning that is not negated by meaning analysis, then the intention to claim that this contradicts the meaning of scriptures such as "eye is empty" has fallen into the error of misunderstanding emptiness. If it is understood that no matter how the words are expressed, there is no contradiction in meaning, then there is no fault in the saying "the pot is empty of truth," and if it is empty of truth, it can also be understood that there is nothing to be clung to in the ultimate sense. As long as one accepts any extreme of being and non-being, both or neither, then one has not gone beyond elaboration. If one does not speak by distinguishing the two truths, one cannot accept any of the four extremes, so it is with acceptance. When one reaches non-elaboration without any acceptance of the four extremes such as being and non-being, then that is the meaning of the two truths being inseparable, so there is no need to distinguish the two truths. It does not become an acceptance in the sense that by negating one, the other is established, or by establishing one, the other is negated, because on the level of no elaboration, it is sufficient to establish that there is generally no grasping of the four alternatives. If it is not so, then one must not accept the words of Nagarjuna, who is free from all acceptance, as they are, but must only explain them as being free from acceptance of true establishment. If the freedom from acceptance of true establishment can perfectly establish the reality, then, although the elaboration of the four extremes must be refuted by the absence of true establishment, it is not possible to accept the four situations of absence of true establishment and being, both or neither, but one must only accept the absence of true establishment, and one must not accept the other three situations. Can one accept that "the pot is not existent by true establishment, and not non-existent by true establishment"? Therefore, even if it is possible to explain the way to refute the two extremes, the four extremes, and the eight extremes by merely accepting true establishment, that is only the establishment of that point. If one does not combine the absence of true establishment and existence in name, merely accepting the absence of true establishment cannot prevent these extremes of non-existence, which is established by direct perception, and you have accepted it. If the extreme of non-existence is not refuted, then think about how the latter three situations are refuted. Second, refuting arising from self, refuting arising from other, refuting arising from both, old...

Four refutations of arising from nothing. First, refutation by the reasoning of the commentaries, namely Buddhapālita, Candrakīrti, Nāgārjuna. Note: There are two types of refutation by the reasoning of the treatises. First, refuting self-arising in the ultimate sense, and also showing that there is no self-arising in conventional terms. Third, summarizing the established meaning of these two. First, refuting arising from a cause that is the same entity as oneself, and refuting that cause and effect are the same entity. First, refuting by the fault of arising being meaningless, refuting by being unreasonable for arising, refuting by the fault of the fruit's arising having no opportunity, refuting by the fault of the seed arising endlessly, there are four in total. First, the Samkhyas believe that cause and effect are the same entity, the effect is not manifest at the time of the cause, and the effect is manifest at the time of the effect. If the fruit arises from that very self, then there is no need for the merit or necessity of arising, because there is nothing more than what already exists, because it has already been established at the time of the cause. Moreover, before the fruit arises, there needs to be a cause that is already established to produce it, and if it is already established, then what is the necessity of arising now? What has already arisen will not arise again, because there is nothing to be reduced from what has already arisen. If it arises, then what has already arisen, what has existed from the beginning, will not now regressively arise, or the sprout that does not exist will not now arise. Second, it is also unreasonable for what has already arisen to arise again doubly, because it has already arisen, just like having finished giving birth to a child. The word "འང་" indicates not only that arising is meaningless, but also that is the meaning. Third, the reason for this is that if, even after arising, it is still completely thought that it will arise again, then when the seed itself arises, the arising of the trunk and internal structure of the sprout and so on, this opportunity will not be found on the seed, that is, before the seed is destroyed, there is no arising of the sprout, and if the seed arises from itself, then the conditions for self-arising will never be complete. The commentary on the Madhyamakāvatāra, "Candrakīrti's Immaculate Crystal Rosary." Because there is no destruction, there is no opportunity for the seed to be destroyed, and in this way, it has no opportunity for the sprout. Fourth, the seed that has already arisen is completely the ultimate end of existence.
