It cannot be established as either one or different, because it lacks substance. When its superimpositions are removed, the impermanence of sound is established. If it is other, then it is as before. Therefore, those that do not exist even in name, such as a barren woman's child and true establishment, although one may wish to establish them as different from the phenomena that exist in name only through the door of name, and only as different by negating oneness, they are not different in essence, because those that do not exist in name also do not have essence in name. Is it appropriate to call a vase that is empty of a barren woman's child "other-empty"? Furthermore, those who apprehend a vase as truly established apprehend the vase itself as truly established, and do not apprehend the delusion of superimposing true establishment on something other than the vase. Therefore, is this emptiness that negates true establishment necessary for an ordinary person who does not understand the meaning of Madhyamaka, or is it necessary for a yogi who understands? It is not like the former, because they do not have such superimpositions. Like a two-headed being, it is necessary to eliminate the object of attachment of such superimpositions. It is also not for a yogi, because even a person who does not understand philosophical tenets has not superimposed anything. What is the need for someone who understands philosophical tenets to add a conceptual imputation that cannot be established by reason? The superimposition that needs to be eliminated is this very vase that appears as unmistaken. The way to prevent the object of attachment that grasps it as established by its own nature, as it appears, is the Middle Way. How is that established? If one examines this appearing vase with "neither one nor many," etc., one cannot find even a little bit. By this, one establishes that it does not exist ultimately, or establishes that it is not truly existent. Rather than leaving the vase unexamined, the reasoning of how to separately negate the true establishment of the vase has not been taught in any of the Prajnaparamita sutras or Madhyamaka treatises, and it cannot be established by reason. Vase A vase is not empty of a vase, but it is empty of true establishment. Thus, abandoning all the ways of explaining the sutras and treatises that say that each phenomenon is empty of its own nature, and accepting other-emptiness, there is nothing meaningful to understand or know. If one wants to bring out the special characteristics of the way of establishing Madhyamaka that no one has ever taught, it is not good if the basis of the special characteristics is lost, so examine it. In short, the nature of nominal phenomena abides without being empty, but for whose sake is this way of negating the true establishment that is other than that? Vases, etc., true establishment

Those who hold (to true existence) believe that the pot itself is truly established, and they do not think that there is a true establishment of a pot other than the pot. Since there is no imputation, there is no need to show the reasoning for eliminating it, like the son of a barren woman. This is not necessary for those who hold that the pot is without true existence, because even ordinary worldly people do not think that there is a true establishment of a pot other than the pot, let alone them? Therefore, according to this way of the pot being empty of other true establishments, the appearance of the pot itself is considered not empty of its own nature, so the pot becomes truly established. If analyzed with meaning analysis, there is no other true establishment than not realizing that the dharma does not have its own nature. In that case, even if a dharma exists in name, if it is not empty of its own nature and is truly established, how could it be possible for another true establishment to empty it? If it is said that on the pot, it is empty of the true establishment of the pot, empty of the true establishment of the woolen cloth, like this is "other-empty," then this does not require the reasoning of ultimate analysis, because non-true existence is not the object of ultimate analysis. Or, if it is said that the horns of a rabbit, etc., which do not exist in name, make the dharmas that exist in name empty, which is "other-empty," then this does not need to be refuted by the reasoning of ultimate analysis, because the valid cognition of nominal analysis has already established it. The reasoning of one and many, etc., does not apply to refuting it, just like dividing the horns of a rabbit into parts to analyze, and how the reasoning of dependent origination applies. It is the same for mere true establishment, how can true establishment be refuted by the reasoning of four extremes of arising and ceasing, etc.? Therefore, for all things that appear in name and exist without deception, in order to show that they appear but do not exist as they appear, dividing the pot, etc., into parts, using the reasoning of one and many separation, and the four extremes of arising and ceasing, which prove that the pot, etc., appear to arise but are actually unborn, and the four sentences of arising and ceasing, existence and non-existence of arising and ceasing, and analyzing with the reasoning of dependent origination, although the appearance of the pot is not deceptive, it cannot be found if analyzed with one and many separation, etc., as it appears. Although it appears as arising, etc., arising, etc., cannot be established if analyzed with the four extremes of arising and ceasing, etc. Although it appears to arise from conditions, if it is analyzed that arising from conditions is not established by its own nature
