The first part is divided into two points: first, refuting by analyzing "action," and second, refuting by analyzing "agent." The first point is: Here, the walker is a person, and the act of walking is a step. The word "temporarily" is used to reveal the rationale for refutation, intending to refute from the three periods of past, present, and future: what has passed belongs to the past, and what has not passed is unreasonable because the act of walking has not yet arisen. In this regard, if the walker has crossed the place he is walking, it is considered to have passed; if he has not crossed, it is considered not to have passed. There is no other possibility besides these two. If it is thought that the place where the foot is stepping while walking now is the step, but the foot is also of the nature of minute particles, so the back of the minute particles of the toe belongs to the category of what has passed, and the front of the minute particles of the heel belongs to the category of what has not passed. Analyzing in this way, the so-called step of "half passed and half not passed," this third situation can never exist. For the time being, first analyze walking. Because the action of walking on the road has stopped, one will not walk on the previously passed road; and because the action of walking has not yet arisen, one will not walk on the unpassed road either. Apart from the passed road and the previously unpassed road, the step that is now occupied by the act of walking cannot be cognized by valid cognition. Someone says: In the place where the movement of lifting and lowering the body and feet occurs, there is the act of walking, and the movement only exists in the step that someone is walking now. The movement is neither in the previously passed place nor in the unpassed place, therefore the step will reach other places when walking. In this regard, there is only one act of walking, and from the two verbs "step" and "walking" for this single act, if combined with "step," then step and walking have the same meaning, only different names. In this way, it is enough to say only "step," and there is no need to say "walking," because walking naturally exists in the step, so how can it be reasonable? The reason is that if analyzed in the three roads, a step without the act of walking is unreasonable, because the verb will become empty and meaningless. If the verb "walking" is combined with the step, it will be understood that the step is empty of the act of walking, because the step itself
