Generally, it refers to the karma of good deeds. Thus, the ten virtuous paths of white karma are the means to practice Dharma, and the fruit of Dharma is the desired qualities in this life and the next, the five pleasing objects of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. The fruit of non-Dharma should be understood from the opposite perspective. Second, the view of the Vaibhashikas has two aspects: pointing out the faults of others and establishing one's own view. The first is: Other schools say that if one accepts the examination of such karma and its results as permanent, then there will be great faults and many kinds of faults. For example, if the result comes from the permanent, like earth sprouts, etc., just as from a sesame seed only its own kind arises and not a different kind, so from the stream of good minds, only the same kind arises without interruption; and the karma and thoughts of individuals in each realm and state should not be interrupted by different kinds from their own stream of the same kind. If it is interrupted, it will become annihilation, so that is unreasonable. If the Sutra school accepts such an examination that combines example and meaning as just stated, then there will be many great faults such as the same kind being interrupted by different kinds. Therefore, that examination is not reasonable in this case as an answer to avoid the faults of permanence and annihilation of karma and its results. The second has three parts: summary, detailed explanation, and conclusion. The first is: Then how should one answer? One should abandon self-creation, and what the Buddha and his retinue said is that karma is not wasted. Even if karma has been done and ceased, in the doer's continuum, something called non-wastage arises, which belongs to non-associated formations, like a pawn for a loan. Karma is like a loan, and non-wastage is like a pawn. Even if the pawn has been pawned and the property has been used, at another time the owner of the property will come to collect the property with interest. Similarly, even if karma has disappeared, because of non-wastage, the doer of karma will experience the fruit of karma. For the pawner, even after the property has been collected and the pawn has become waste paper, whether it exists or not, it cannot collect the property again. Similarly, once the ripened result has emerged, whether non-wastage exists or not

Again, it is impossible to experience the ripening again. The non-perishing (Tibetan: ཆུད་མི་ཟ་བ་) is, in terms of the division of realms (Tibetan: ཁམས་), fourfold: the desire realm, the form realm, the formless realm, and the unconditioned. That is to say, because they are distinguished by belonging to this and that, they are established as conditioned and unconditioned, but the essence is undetermined, that is, it does not belong to either the conditioned or the unconditioned, so it is said that it is not conditioned, which refers to relying on karma that is not conditioned. Generally speaking, because it is conditioned, it is said that it should be abandoned. It is neither virtuous nor non-virtuous, because it exists in both those who are free from attachment and those who have severed the root of virtue. Even if karma is abandoned, it is not abandoning it, because the seeing path of the noble ones abandons the karma of ordinary beings, but the noble Arhat can see the power of the karma of ordinary beings, because the non-perishing exists. However, it is abandoned through cultivation, and the word "also" indicates that if one transcends the realm of the path of transcendence, one belongs there, so it is abandoned. And it is said that because one completely transcends the three realms, one also abandons it. Moreover, the word "also" indicates that there must also be unconditioned that is not to be abandoned, is it referring to this? In this way, for any examination of what the Buddhas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Sravakas have said, here, for the reasoning that is separate from the permanence and annihilation of karmic results, it should be vigorously proclaimed. The second (part) has five (aspects): showing examples of non-perishing, showing classifications and nature, to which proof belongs, the manner of arising and ceasing, and showing classifications from the perspective of essence. The first (aspect) is: What is that? For example, just like a loan certificate in the world, the non-perishing karma, like a loan, attracts ripening. Or, just like a loan certificate, in this way karma and non-perishing, like a loan is karma, like a certificate is non-perishing. In short, karma is like a loan, it disappears immediately after it arises, so it will not become permanent; and like a certificate, because it does not perish, it will produce fruit with interest at some time, so it will not become annihilation, so it is said. The second (aspect) is: The non-perishing, if distinguished from the realms, belongs to the three realms and the unconditioned, there are four kinds. That is to say, the essence or nature is neither virtuous nor non-virtuous, so it is undetermined. The third (aspect) is: By the seeing path abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing of ordinary beings, therefore the non-perishing is not abandoned, but it is abandoned through cultivation, even if the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing are abandoned, the non-perishing of previous karma is not abandoned.
