Though without beginning, it has an end, like a seed. The second has three parts: a brief statement, a detailed explanation, and a summary of the meaning. The first is: without beginning, without end, and without middle, therefore there is no samsara. Therefore, the order of earlier and later, and simultaneous, is not reasonable for those two, birth and aging. The second is: how is it not reasonable? If birth is earlier and aging and death are later, then birth has no aging and death, so birth is permanent. And since aging and death have not passed before it, one will be born here without dying in the previous life, so birth is without cause. If birth is later in time and aging and death are earlier, then such aging and death without birth, how can it occur without its cause, birth, having passed before? It will not occur. Among the two, birth and aging and death, one is not possible. That which is being born also becomes that which is dying. Those two contradictions gather at the same time, and both birth and death become causeless, because birth has no aging and death, and aging and death have no birth preceding them, so those two become independent without dependence, because they do not depend on each other as cause. The third is: since the order of earlier and later and simultaneous of birth and aging and death is not established for anything like that, why do that birth and that aging and death exist? Such discrimination causes distraction, and one should not be distracted. The third, applying this reasoning to others: the name "samsara" not only has no prior limit, but also others such as cause and effect, and the nature and the basis of nature, feeling and the feeler, and also others such as consciousness and the object of consciousness, etc., whatever things are considered to have mutually dependent meanings, whatever they may be, such as samsara and nirvana, measure and result, measurable and measuring, etc., all those things also do not have a prior limit and simultaneity of one previously established, so all phenomena established by dependence are empty of inherent existence in ultimate truth, and are established like illusions in conventional truth. Like this, if the cause is earlier, there is no cause that establishes it, if the effect is earlier, the effect is without cause, and if they are simultaneous, they do not depend on each other, so both become causeless. Likewise, everything such as name and meaning is the same.

It should be written. Second, it is called examining the beginning and end or samsara, which is the eleventh chapter. The twelfth chapter is the chapter on examining suffering. The connection of the Sutra is: In the Prajnaparamita Sutra, it says, "Suffering is also empty of suffering." and so on. And the connection of the chapter: Because there is suffering related to it, there is self. The Blessed One said that the five aggregates of grasping are suffering. If the self, which is the basis of suffering, does not exist, then suffering is unreasonable, just as a barren woman's son will not get sick. To show that it is not established, there is the treatise and the name. The first part has three: stating the views of others, stating the reasoning of refutation, and applying the reasoning to others. The first is: If suffering is analyzed into four extremes, then some, such as the Samkhyas, believe that suffering is created by the self, most of our own school believe that suffering is created by other causes, the naked ones believe that suffering is created by both self and others, and the Lokayatas believe that suffering arises from no cause. The Samkhyas believe that suffering arises from suffering itself. The Vaisheshikas believe that suffering is created by the self of the person. Our own school and other schools also believe that suffering arises from other causes that are different in nature from suffering. The naked ones say that the body creates it, and the body is suffering, so it is created by oneself, and the life creates it, and the life is different from suffering, so it is created by others, and so on. The second part has two: a summary and a detailed explanation. The first is: It is never permissible to assert that suffering arises from self, other, both, or without cause. The second part has five: refuting that suffering is created by self, refuting that it is created by other, refuting self-created and other-created by other reasoning, refuting both-created, and refuting arising from no cause. The first part has two types: suffering itself is called self-created, and the person created is called self-created. Among them, the first type is refuted: If suffering is created by the suffering self, then it is creating oneself, so suffering will not depend on previous causes and conditions to arise, because the nature of suffering itself already exists.
