Therefore, both burning and non-burning are unreasonable. Fire is not wood, it does not arise from something else that is not wood. If fire arises from something other than wood, then it must be specified, but it is not specified. Moreover, fire would become causeless. Wood itself does not have fire from the beginning, because it is able to appear but is not specified. Secondly, similarly, for the obstruction of fire and wood, the remaining reasoning spoken of here is shown by considering whether it has been discussed previously or not. For the time being, burning is not non-burning, etc., to be transformed into a statement. Thus, yogis analyze fire and wood in this way, and through this way of understanding dharmas, the body will not be burned by the external fire of the end of time and the internal fire of the three poisons. The *Samadhiraja Sutra* says: "Even if burned thoroughly for many hundreds of kalpas, the sky has never been burned. By realizing that dharmas are the same as the sky, it will never be burned by fire." That is what is said. This chapter mainly analyzes one and different. Thirdly, summarizing the meaning established by negation: Therefore, wood itself is not fire. If wood is fire, then the agent and action would become one. This is harmful. Similarly, fire does not exist apart from wood. If fire exists apart from wood, then it would also arise without wood. That is what is said. These two reasonings have already negated that the essence of fire and wood is one and different, therefore there is no combination of one and different. Moreover, fire is not the support of wood, and wood is not the support of fire, because if different entities are the support and the supported, then this is not established. Secondly, applying the reasoning to other things: Therefore, the combination of one and different of fire and wood, the support and the supported, if analyzed in five ways, then for the taker self and the taken or to-be-taken aggregates, etc., it is also explained in the same five ways, because if analyzed in this way, these two are also not established. Similarly, for other things, such as a vase, a blanket, limbs and the possessor of limbs, cause and effect, etc., all five of these should be analyzed, and it will be explained as not established. Thirdly, condemning looking at inconsistent aspects: Those who claim that things exist, such as the taker self and the aggregates taken by it, etc., and things such as effects, are of the same kind as the cause, etc.

Those who show whether the entity is one or different, they think they are proficient in the Buddha's teachings, that is, the profound meaning of dependent origination, liberation from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, Nagarjuna would not think so, because such clinging would be harmed by valid cognition. The second is, examining fire and firewood, called the tenth chapter. The eleventh chapter is the analysis of examining samsara. The connection of the sutra is, in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, it says: "The prior limit is not seen, the posterior limit is not seen, the middle limit is not seen," and so on. The connection of the analysis is, although the self-nature and the example of fire and firewood have been negated, but because there is samsara, there is the self of the samsaric being, if there is no self, in the wandering of the five paths, from the previous to here, from here to the later, birth and death are transmitted one after another, who is wandering? The teacher also said: "The cycle of birth and aging and death has no beginning and no end." And "Sentient beings are endowed with the obscuration of ignorance, are fully bound to existence, are bound by the thread of craving, the prior limit of those who wander and run is not visible." Therefore, if it is thought that there is a self in samsara, it is called self, then, there are two aspects to examining the non-establishment of samsara itself: the text and the name. The first has three: the samsara as the basis is not established, the dharma of birth and death that is based on is not established, and the reasoning is applied to other things. The first is, if there is samsara, the self of the samsaric being exists, but the nature of samsara does not exist, when asked whether the prior limit of samsara appears, the Great Hero said it does not appear, because the Buddha said: "Monks, the cycle of birth and aging and death has no beginning and no end.", and if there is samsara, like a pot, there must be a beginning and an end, but it is like a wheel of fire, the beginning and end cannot be grasped. Therefore, samsara has no beginning and no end, because the prior limit of the cycle of birth and death cannot be grasped, so the posterior limit cannot be grasped either. Moreover, the beginning and end are the prior and posterior limits, not the order of before and after. If it is thought that there is a middle, then, for which samsara is established without beginning and without end, then where is the middle for it? Because the middle must depend on the beginning and the end. Thus, samsara is like space in the ultimate truth, and begins nominally
