愚蠢之人顷刻间为愤怒所败，被失败所征服的恶劣心智，为何要与贤智之人相争？饮用时如水般柔软温顺，触碰时却能如火般灼烧，具有这种品格的贤士，一旦被无德之人见到，便会引来嘲笑。如大地般，心胸稳固而宽广，精进如末劫之风般猛烈动荡，凡是与之对抗的敌人们，都会像灰烬堆一样毁灭。自己恒常安住于正直的道路，以真理的力量令诸神欢喜，对于不合规矩的侵犯之处，以愤怒的力量彻底摧毁，真是奇妙。凭借后盾护法的威力和福德，守护的盔甲恒常穿戴，具有明咒诅咒的猛烈武器，人中狮子胜过一切土地。时机成熟便展现自己的力量，等待成熟之时，若具勇气者开始行动，对付敌人又有何难？明智之人，应当时而与敌人和解，时而与朋友争斗，有时发起进攻，有时延缓行动，有时装作聋哑。时机成熟时，如地主般发言，有时如雪山般清凉，时机成熟时，如火焰般燃烧，有时如草根般谦卑，时机成熟时，如须弥山般巍峨，有时如国王般富裕，时机成熟时，如牟尼（佛）般进入森林。有时进行欢乐的歌舞嬉戏，有时如野兽般躲藏，时机成熟时，如狮子般展现威严气势，了解时机与非时机，并依此行事。由于地点、时间、人物的差异，即使面对非常强大的敌方阵营，若进行竞争和对抗，也会自取其辱。即使自己拥有军队且强大，由于地点、时间、能力上的差异，对于非常弱小的敌人，也不可轻视，应保持警惕。一旦见到暂时不宜争斗的情况，就应采取放任的态度，以大象般的姿态，装作不知情地待着。像油麻菜的伤口般增长的，恶劣的敌对势力蔓延之路，在弱小时就要坚决地予以斩断。

The foolish are defeated in an instant by anger, and why should those of evil mind, conquered by defeat, contend with the wise? When drinking, it is as soft and gentle as water, but when touched, it can burn like fire. When the conduct of such a virtuous person is seen, it invites laughter from the unprincipled. Like the earth, the heart is steadfast and vast; diligence is as fierce and turbulent as the wind at the end of time. All enemies who oppose it are destroyed like heaps of ashes. Always abiding on the path of righteousness, pleasing the gods with the power of truth, and righteously destroying those who attack improperly with the power of wrath is wondrous. By the power of the guardian deities and merit, the armor of protection is always worn, and with the fierce weapons of knowledge, mantras, and curses, the lion among men conquers all lands. When the time comes, one's own strength is revealed. Having waited until maturity, if the courageous begin to act, what difficulty is there in dealing with the enemy? A wise person should sometimes reconcile with enemies, and sometimes fight with friends. Sometimes initiate action, sometimes delay it. Sometimes act as if deaf or mute. When the time comes, speak like a landowner. Sometimes be as cool as a snow mountain. When the time comes, blaze like a flame. Sometimes be as humble as a root. When the time comes, be like Mount Meru. Sometimes be prosperous like a king. When the time comes, go into the forest like a Muni (Buddha). Sometimes engage in joyful singing, dancing, and play. Sometimes hide like a wild animal. When the time comes, display majestic power like a lion. Knowing the right time and the wrong time, act accordingly. Due to differences in place, time, and people, even when facing a very powerful enemy camp, if one competes and opposes, one invites disgrace upon oneself. Even if one is strong with an army, due to differences in place, time, and ability, one should not despise even a very weak enemy, but should be vigilant. Once one sees a situation where it is not appropriate to fight for the time being, one should adopt an attitude of indifference, and remain as if unaware, like an elephant. The path of the evil enemy force that grows like a sesame seed wound should be resolutely cut off when it is small.

行事在于精明干练，它象征着各种各样的事物。 应该做和不应该做的尺度，凭借清晰的智慧才能看清，愚笨之人即使努力又怎能明白？ 即使是极其真实的言语，如果不顺应时节和场合，也不会悦耳动听。 适时而言，最为美好。 即使非常圆满富足，也不应毫无顾忌地放纵自己，因为众生都追随业力，各种苦乐才会产生。 即使非常贫困潦倒，也不应承受侮辱。 在这广阔的大地上，谁又会成为谁的奴隶呢？ 即使非常贫穷，也不应背离佛法。 如果如法行事，那么衰败的一面，就能像梦境一样消失。 即使非常强大有力，也不应轻视他人。 如果能恰如其分地加以引导，自己的圆满富足就会增长。 表面上看起来是好的因缘，大多会变成坏的障碍。 表面上看起来是坏的事情，也有可能对自己有益。 在极其难以分辨、令人担忧的境地，不要依赖他人。 凭借智慧的力量去分辨，这样的人才算得上是有智慧。 与其愚笨之人努力给予，不如精明之人坦率地批评。 与其恶人愤怒地殴打，不如精明之人微笑更胜一筹。 即使被善于权谋的人折磨，也能像用铁钩引导大象一样，使他心悦诚服。 即使被不精明的人照顾，也会像令人作呕的食物一样，使他人心生厌恶。 用进入的方式来使其退出，用退出的方式来使其进入。 具备善巧方便的行为，在他人无法揣测的情况下就能成功。 心中所描绘的蓝图，虽然像天空中的宝藏一样不显现。 但时机一旦成熟，所有的意义，都会像不混杂的织锦图案一样清晰。 那种谁都能轻易识破的，狡诈之举不能称之为善巧方便。 具备善巧方便的行为，会令所有人惊叹不已。 天神和仙人，以及拥有力量的君王，具备善巧方便和福德之人，仅仅凭借言语就能产生巨大的利益和损害，如果付诸行动，那还用多说吗？ 从一开始就看到事情的端倪，不了解的人妄加评判，但当最终看到成果时，所有人都会羡慕有智慧的人。 因此，要超越普通人的行为准则。

Acting lies in being clever and capable, it symbolizes all sorts of things. The measure of what should and should not be done, can only be seen with clear wisdom, how can a foolish person understand even if they try? Even if the words are extremely true, if they do not conform to the time and place, they will not be pleasing to the ears. Speaking appropriately is the most beautiful. Even if you are very complete and prosperous, you should not indulge yourself without any worries, because sentient beings follow karma, and all kinds of joys and sorrows will arise. Even if you are very poor and destitute, you should not endure insults. In this vast land, who will be whose slave? Even if you are very poor, you should not turn away from the Dharma. If you act according to the Dharma, then the side of decline can disappear like a dream. Even if you are very strong and powerful, you should not despise others. If you can guide them appropriately, your own completeness and prosperity will increase. Most of the seemingly good causes turn into bad obstacles. Most of the seemingly bad things may be beneficial to oneself. In an extremely difficult to distinguish and worrying situation, do not rely on others. Those who use the power of wisdom to distinguish, are considered to be wise. Rather than a foolish person trying to give, it is better for a clever person to criticize frankly. Rather than an evil person beating angrily, it is better for a clever person to smile. Even if tortured by someone skilled in scheming, you can make him submit like guiding an elephant with an iron hook. Even if cared for by someone who is not clever, it will make others disgusted like disgusting food. Use the way of entering to make it exit, use the way of exiting to make it enter. The actions of those with skillful means will succeed without others being able to fathom them. The blueprint drawn in the heart, although it is invisible like a treasure in the sky. But once the time is ripe, all the meanings will be clear like the patterns of a brocade that are not mixed. That kind of cunning act that anyone can easily see through cannot be called skillful means. The actions of those with skillful means will amaze everyone. The gods and sages, and the kings with power, those with skillful means and merit, can produce great benefits and harms with just words, if they put it into action, then what more is there to say? From the beginning, see the clues of things, those who do not understand judge blindly, but when they finally see the results, everyone will envy the wise. Therefore, one must transcend the code of conduct of ordinary people.
